  1. same. super hyped for outriders now. I actually love everything it stands for. and all I want is a really good and solid finished product for once. 3k hours in warframe, and haven't played for months.. it just lacks any kind of meaningful content.

  2. i dont however understand all the gears of war comparrisons though.. it is literally just all mass effect 3 and andromeda, from the skills, to the cover system you dont actually really use and play aggressively to heal. (so the really good parts of these games). its just mass effect having a baby with borderlands kind of wacky fun and the og of looter shooters, using its 3 skill tree system and mods on gear system with a REALLY nice unique gearing and crafting system in place.

there is hope, every issue i had, is already being fixed
still i am curious about, farming, repetition of same missions/content and challenge escalation
outriders has lots of content creation potential
and i am looking forward to that 😀

  4. Idk man. It looks kinda… meh.
The movement and gunplay look a little janky, the art style is kinda ugly, the camera shake during cutscenes is absurd, the cutscenes every time you open a door… i’ll stick with Destiny

  5. Personally while the game does feel similar to Gears of War you really don't want to use cover. Also if you haven't checked out their YouTube channel you should cause they go into the detail including end game, which somewhat gives me Diablo 3 vibes.

  6. If the game sells well they will make DLC for it. Remnant added new game modes with its DLC so I don't think it's the worst game model to go with.

I'd prefer of they go the route Blizzard did with Diablo where there are seasonal events but you've already paid for it when you bought the software.

  7. “What’s the point of going to another planet that looks just like Earth?”
The point is that if it didn’t look like Earth, how would we survive there? A planet of glowing mushrooms sound great, but in practice would likely have a toxic atmosphere. It’s only because trees, grass, water and the right atmosphere exists that a planet would be vaguely possible to colonise.

  8. The enemy A. I. Is so utterly stupid you can run through the game without using cover. It takes more than a minute to die by standing still and doing nothing. The weaposn feel dull and have little to no impact.
Overall to me it feels like a generic cover shooter that doesn't force the player into engaging into its systems.

  9. Yeah seems fun to me too. Each class from that 4, can be evolved into 3 underclasses in skill tree. Combat feels good, but the gunplay could be better. Overall it's fun but nothing revolucionary either. It has potential.

  10. My favourite thing about Outriders is, looking at the way builds seem to be going, are that while the classes certainly lean towards certain archetypes (Tank, Assassin, Nuker, Support) you can build each one to do any of the jobs through leaning into HP and armour and self healing/shielding, or raw DPS and choosing either AoEs or movement, there's an augment for weapons available to any class that allows for AoE healing and it looks like they'll each have access to some amount of CC. I'm really looking forward to seeing what interesting combinations come out of the system.

  11. I'm not sure I understand the people comparing this game to the division. Invested hundreds of hours into both division games and other than lazy surface level comparisons they don't feel or play the same.

It would be nice if people would form their own opinions instead of just regurgitating what they've seen other people say. So I encourage everyone to try it out and form an opinion for yourself.
