I love the protection joke and I agree with survivability mods when I die I just get deleted too and no mod will change that so I'll put those extra mods into damage and kill them before they get to me I don't have emergency stance so I didn't experience how it was broken so im used to playing without it

  2. i find that if i use skill leach or weapon leach or status power instead of close range damage because i run the 2 perks in pestilence that lower the minimum range to bbe considered long range by 6 meters. i do this because i usually kill enemies from distance rather than when they are close to me. the only ones that ever really get close enough are the little proforos and i do enough damage that they die quick enough without close range damage. status power is great because you get more damage from toxic when it hits which is all the time. skill/weapon leach helps keep you healed with it. i actually run mitigation from death and damage absorber, and also the one that reduces damage taken from elites. i run gold on most CTs with this build and that includes the ones you have to spend pod resources to run. i also run a weapon with bone shards and killing spree. bone shards helps clear the proforos from distance so they never get too close usually.

  3. I wonder how that build would work on one of those maps that the enemy comes from all different directions. Like one of those open maps because on colloseum is more narrow for the most part.

  4. I've just been running Damage Absorber for my defensive mod and I've been fine. I don't trust Mitigation From Death as much, because of those few seconds between accumulating stacks, or stacks falling off. Damage Absorber is just more reliable for me.
