Outriders has been very popular amongst the MMO RPG / Destiny crowd, but everyone was wondering if it would come to game pass after some cryptic teases. The answer turned out to be yes as it was announced today for Xbox Game Pass, but Outriders will not be on PC game pass causing a bit of a surprising reaction. Here are my thoughts on the latest news, and why PC fans are probably unhappy that they’re not getting in on the game for cheap.

I feel games like this thrive on Game Pass. Destiny 2 is a great example, I would have never purchased the new expansion but because of Game Pass I ended up playing it and back into it! I even make enough points off the Microsoft reward system to purchase my season pass each season! 👌🏻

Game pass continues to surprise and just get better and better. Could this be how we get our games from now on? Free and i guess the developers get a major upfront fee but the risiduales must be rediculous for some body to kust give away what could possibly be a runaway hit. Its been a great option for me to bounce between PC and Xbox games with Game Pass, and I mainly game on PC. Between Game Pass and Humble Bundle, I'm set.
Gamepass is pretty amazing u can even play it on tablet mobile phones. I mean that's crazy. U safe a tons of Mula with gamepass.
What is this guys idea of an MMO? Never once thought of Fallout76 or Destiny as MMO's. Throw call of duty in there while your at it since its online with lots of people and progression lol.
I'm not upset but it's simply a fact pc players are getting less value for the same product. That's not a "hole poke" it's the truth. Hopefully one day they'll add it.
remember the wireless xbox 360 headset? It was a small mono headset that looked like a blutooth earpiece and connected directly to the console. As someone that console games with surround sound, I really wish MS would bring back an official version of that headset for the new consoles.
I'm a Sony fan always have been and I'm happy Xbox is getting the spotlight I'm a gamer and it's a great thing that Xbox is getting theses games on gampass more power to them everyone should just focus on having fun and playing good games
And when/if they remove it from game pass you could lose all your progress and have to purchase the game, how would you feel knowing at any given time Outriders could be removed from the game pass?
Game pass is for casual players that do not commit to any one game long term……… Be warned!
Outriders on gamepass was a good spenditure by MS, 👍
But octopass traveler(which I loved on the switch) makes less sense to me because a majority (so not all, don't bite my head off) of xbox fans value community over single player games, which means multi-player online games, but I'm happy for those few that do like games like Octopath get to try it on gamepass. I guess it'll be free so it won't hurt to try it 🙂

Xbox Game Pass is great. I have been taking advantage of it on PC since early 2020.
With the pandemic, it was easy to convince my friends to sign up and join me. Played a lot during lockdown. Really got into AoE 2.
Once again, very much enjoying my time with it. We even did the whole ‘stack up Xbox Live Gold years, and convert to Game Pass’ trick to get a lot of time locked in.
Thats said, it been a bit disappointing as a PC user of Game Pass (i dont have a Series X|S and don’t plan on getting one due to redundancy).
There are many times when new Game Pass titles are announced and we find out that they are console only. Outriders, Elder Scrolls Online, sports titles and up until very recently EA play.
I fully understand the economics behind the situation, and I think you are right about conflicts with other PC storefronts, but it is still a bit disappointing. I am the person in the friend group who has to explain when things are console only.
Now, here is where the problem lies.
Game Pass has devalued purchases a bit. Lets use Outriders for example. Because it is available on console game pass, the expectation is that it will arrive on PC Game Pass at some point in the future. So now its a harder sell to get a group together to pay for a game thats ‘free’ on Game Pass.
Titles in general have been devalued and if the game isn’t a sure-fire hit or AAA its just ‘wait to see if it comes to game pass’
So, its a gift and a curse.
And the Xbox app on PC is ok at best. The PC versions of games on that app arent always the same as the Steam versions. Most recently I noticed it with Control and Dirt 5.
The fact that Sony players are getting pissy just goes to show that what Xbox is doing is working lol. As someone who has both consoles, your saltiness makes for great seasoning 🙂

Games on gamepass usually leave after a year but i couldnt tell you about this one. Its the first time theyve added a big title day one so it could be like 6 months, who knows. Either way if you pay a dollar or 15 in 6 months or a year unless they game flops hard you wont buy it anywhere at that price.
I happy that it's going to the pass so it gets more players to try it out. But I've tried the pass and I just didn't use it enough to keep getting it
It is cross play, so a bigger player base is better. I am sure they would bring it to pc if they could.

And by the way I feel quite certain that the reason and it’s not available to PC game pass holders is because the publishers want to actually make money off of it they have to recoup their development costs and since it’s not a game as a service yeah it really doesn’t the model well on our game pass table set up OK I mean what is game pass 10 bucks a month or something 15 bucks a month how much that do you think a Democrat fly are you going to get they’re releasing of theoretically releasing a one and done no DLC‘s no added can’t can’t no Kia sharp no continuing revenue streams of any sort the money they make off of it is basically going to be made on day one and then any royalties they get off the game pass so I’m pretty sure they’re looking to rehome their development costs and make a profit off of initial sales which won’t happen Amazon game pass on the PC

Again pal fallout 76 is not an MMO mine in relation consoles are becoming a good place to play MMO‘s because developers are designing the control schemes and I’ll be there literally designing and bowls with everybody for consoles now with controllers in mind for the control scheme where is you got games like black desert online that is horrible to play on a consul because the controllers just get all our versatile enough to control a game like that I mean yes you can combat is OK but the rest of it is just a nightmare and all the menus in one hour it’s a nightmare but then you go to bless unleashed which is likeCarbon copy in structure to black desert was designed for consuls and is awesome to play on Consol consuls are the future boys are your PC game players that are pro so long had the upper hand because of your better graphics in your bed or processing his memory at all and that’s just not show any more from tonsils are going to be where it’s at in the future

You do know adopt you that come tears plus members have access to every game that’s ever been on PS plus you can download it out of the S Dr. every game it’s ever been on PS plus which is also a huge OU I mean there’s some really good games to end up on PS plus but if you don’t download them when they’re available or not download but rather add him to your library you’ll miss out but not so once you’re on the PS flyer on the PS five you’ll be able to download every game that’s ever been on the gas plus Kalon in fact you can download am I here you can add him to your library I think on your psi then you can go to your PS4 and download them you just can’t add him to your library from the PS4
Besides Xbox controllers are still battery-operated I mean what the fuck is the 21st-century put a goddamn rechargeable in it and then set it up so that you can charge it I don’t understand why they aren’t dumb mad I mean yes I guess you can go get up a wall you need to charge your batteries and have a set in the wall unit in the set an a controller but that just seems after having a PlayStation that seems kind of fucked up but I just change controllers when one goes dad
Have to mention if it matters to you take all riders as an example I watched a comparison about a very technical comparison and a PlayStation five was maintaining consistent frame rates higher than the bomb Xbox series X if they’re consistent all around even when their frame rates are very close tax bracket comparing spikes and fixing what hat it was kind of weird but the aftermarket inclusion at the end of that video I watched is that the PlayStation if I was running out riders are better than the Xbox series X obviously that’s probably going to get different results depending on which game and how well they utilizedSystems Anisha environment but still
