As an aurelion sol main, i feel like i mained de wrong twisted fate.
I'll be honest, it's frustrating to play tf, mainly due to being unable to do anything alone until late game, if it gets there.
Is this Danganronpa V3 OST?
Perfectly Designed, yet so underrated overall, you almost only see him in pro/challenger.
"macro takes you much further than how well you can animation cancel"
laughs in riven
Alright TF is a really good champ that teaches you about map control but by far the most balance champ ever created to teach beginner everything about league is definitely ANNIE
If you learn how to play Annie mid you can go her anywhere. Even jg which is very fun in my opinion no one ever see a lv 2 Annie with stun come to lane.
I miss the times where I can play ADC TF and not get laughed at
Twisted Fate to this day is still my favorite champion, and based on the recent champion releases I don't see that changing. What I loved about old-school league was the fact that almost every single champion was simple and basic, yet despite how simple they were players were able to come up with the coolest ways to use them. The simplistic nature encouraged out of the box thinking and creativity.
Contrast that to modern League, every modern day champion is a play maker. They are all disgustingly overloaded because Riot for some reason believes that anything less would mean they wouldn't be able to shine. Creativity is out the window, it's very obvious what you need to do with your champion to make a play happen and that's super lame.
"When everyone is super, no one will be."
Yep just love tf 🖤
This champion is actually very weird, you never feel like you're doing a lot of Damage (well mid game you do) and yet, you do a lot of damage, I had a game that I was dealing half of anyone's health with a Q, 5 minutes later a WQ+AA Lichbane + E wouldn't do as much damage as the single Q was doing – but yet, I topped damage chart, felt very frustrating to loose that game, on the other hand AD TF is sooooooooooooooooo much fun, so powerful
"For a character to be considered good to play, they are expected to be unfair". Ah yes, the type of players who gets boosted in ranks and probably one of the reasons a game is so toxic.
I think for Perfectly designed you could look at Orianna next
Pog I main tf :O
Perfectly designed, unless you’re colourblind…
Jhin: But I'm the perfection. 😢
Wait you play smash and league too? I'd sub if I hadn't already like 20 minutes ago
Yeah you're really going to run away from Noc when he Q's you for MS and has flash and fear. XD
feel like you should have mentioned that his blue card has the highest dmg of the 3
what i like about tf is that with the right build you can legit one-shot squishy champs with blue card. so sometimes while running after a jinx or something you press w and lock in blue card the jinx thinks you messed up and tries to fight only to have her health bar dissapear instantly.
I can never play TF in soloq cause of the advent of Yasuo, Akali and Zed
4:15 Fiora W, Yasuo W, Malphite R, Banshee veil, Malzaha passive: Hi.
can you eventually talk about annie?
Yasuo, vladimir: im about to end this mans whole carrier
really cool background music "Become Friends". hate to say this to the artist but the song has a Maplestory type of fantasy vibe which is wonderful.
Calling a champion "perfectly designed" when their passive is literally just free gold for playing the game normally and one of their abilities is just a second passive that doesn't synergize with any other abilities is a stretch to me.
He's well designed in the sense he's balanced and has stood the test of time fairly well, but literally only because he has 2 abilities anyone cares about.
Tf in my opinion is the most balanced champ basic kit not overturned like qiyana akali zeds yone etc etc
I have to disagree TF is a stun bot who deals 0 damage i dont think he is balenced at all like every champion beats him in lane cuz he has no defense and no damage
Twisted Fate/Oriana/Santa PERFECTION.
Vars: "TF's Yellow card is undodgeable and cannot miss"
Me a shen main
"ARE YOU SURE ABOUT THAT!?"
Only playing, but it is one of the reasons why I love playing shen into tf.
2:42 he he
Twisted fates stun is conditional because you need to proc it. A true reliable stun ability isn't in league anymore, only conditional ones.
While I definitely like what he does, and wouldn't want him to suddenly have, like, a dash, or an AoE stun or anything, I do wish his E was… anything else. Purely passive abilities are just something I don't care for, and I feel like there's room for something else in that slot. Something like an active that makes his next attack fire twice in quick succession so he can spent a bit of mana for burst and to more quickly cycle through his stacked deck a bit faster. Something. Anything.
i think ryze teaches you the game well. he also teaches you that riot is a cruel and unjust god.
The issue is that he is fair. People would rather abuse an op champ that’s easy to play than actually get good.
Don’t play him, only ever played against him, but there’s something to be said for the fact that I hate point and click stuns but have never minded tf the way I do Pantheon or Volibear
when perfectly designed yone?
TF actually works as a good support because his play style is all about map awareness, which is one of the most important things to a support, so he's got global vision and global presence, hard CC to lock down kills or peel, and a massivlly long ranged poke that you can spam thanks to blue card.
I have never had a tf in my team that didn't feed his ass off
So many low elo players go 8-1 or similar in lane then hard throw late cause of zero macro knowledge
Twisted Fate is the only champion who's legally allowed to have a point and click stun
