  1. Just let the fucking things crit already.

The main reason ZOS isn't just leting that happen is they're prideful and they already cut their ability to crit. Giving it back would seem like weakness, but there's no other option.

I'm taking a while off because I don't see endgame with the current scaling being fun. ZOS needs to focus on making the game more fucking engaging, and maybe creating a few more specs that don't have to run six dots at once, rather then trying to nuke DPS.

  2. I've seen a lot of comments suggesting to balance proc sets by allowing them to crit since besides battle spirit crit is one of the biggest differences between PvE and PvP. The logic of course being that because most people in PvP have about 30% crit resist give or take they can then strike hard in PvE and reasonably in PvP.

The other thought I've had is having different proc scaling values for PvP through battle spirit but I'm no game dev, I've no idea how plausible this would be.

  3. I never understood why ESO doesn't make PvE Gear only for PvE and PvP Gear only for PvP. I have seen other games take this approach and they never had the endless balancing issues. It seems this approach would be easier for developers also. They would be able to develop a set for the environment intended without having to determine every possible loophole when used in the environment for which it was not intended? That would keep PvE balanced within itself and same for PvP. PvP Players would be able to do PvP content to unlock sets for PvP and PvE Players would be able to do PvE content for sets they need.

  4. If these changes go live it looks like abandoning all proc sets, going mismatched/single piece monster, mythics will be most beneficial. Sounds less interesting to me…

  5. I am going to post this everywhere this comes up until it is common knowledge.
They will NEVER balance sets for PVE and PvP together. I used to PVP all the time but mostly PVE now. So I get both sides. They constantly introduce sets that fit well in PVE. PvP exploits and finds broken builds that spread and ruin their PvP experience. They complain and zos reacts (justifiably) and PVE folks have to jump through hoops to get back to where they were while PvP just finds the next broken build to complain about ( gank, bombers, bleed, shields, heals and of course procs) Sound familiar? That’s the last 7 years.
The only step in the right direction was shutting off proc sets in PvP which seemed overwhelming accepted by both communities. SEPARATE PVP and PVE gear once and for all please.

  6. i have just started getting into ESO and i get Slaped to the past in pvp and i did not even get a chance to cast 🤔…. but i still find it fun but i come from WoW were things were not balanced but they did try to balance pve and pvp separate besides for the rogues they have forgotten that evil class is still in the game 🤣…but anyway i agree they just nerfing in general due to pvp but they dont change how it performs in pvp and pve

  7. I think it is a good time to leave this game, probably just a break, not giving my stuff away😛 Just tired of the nerfs and have no motivation to get on the new hamster wheel ever nerf patch to try to stay trial ready etc. Cancelled eso+ and may return who knows.

  8. It seems like they are constantly breaking things trying to make pvp work. I know some people like pvp but I feel like its this tacked on thing in this game that is just causing issues constantly.

  9. I'm glad ZoS isn't afraid to get a little boring. My main concern is balance, I don't like sets that give too much free damage or survivability in PvE or PvP, things that should come from player skill. But I do like the idea of mythics being even more of a double-edged sword, higher reward and higher risk.

  10. Relequen seems fine to me. Same build on live gets around 5k and on pts around 7k. The relequen fix actually offset the kilt nerf perfectly I’m doing exact same dps.

  11. This patch ruined DW and absolutely killed off 2H backbar (thanks for deleting my off-meta dps build ZoS) and I refuse to go back to Bow-only for my Stam characters, soooo…. Guess I'm taking a break. I'm glad I didn't pre-order Blackwood. 🙁

If only they could make Merciless Charge have Charge deal X increased damage per tick. This would add instant burst in PvP, but constant DPS in PvE due to enemies not getting out of Stampede's AOE. I haven't been mad at ZoS since like, Scalebreaker or Dragonhold. This is so disappointing. Just like back then, I'll just take a break for a while.

  12. Separating PvE from PvP seems like such an easy change due to Battle Spirit existing. But the problem is ESO was originally developed with a PvP endgame in mind and I don't think the devs want to break away from that mindset.

  13. This is my main question for the dumbasses that work for the Zos.It’s been five updates in a row now everyone’s dps’s has been going down not up as the game goes on through years you should be doing more DPS not less. Why does it even matter how much a dps’s you do in PVE are they trying to set a cap so you can’t do but a certain amount a DPS,There’s plenty of MMO’s that are coming out this year that make ESO look like they got their ass wiped on the floor, keeps treating the community like thus they’re going to get but they Deserve

  15. Im pretty bummed about the unleashed terror nerf, assuming the hemmoraging status doesnt bring its damage back up. I wanted to make an aoe dot build out of it on a stamina sorcerer using streak to trigger it every 10 seconds on groups. I wanted to use the same setup with oblivious foe, splitting soul trap, and streak/unleashed terror, for a drive by grind build. Trap, streak through each group and they die while you run to the next group.

  16. I've been feeling like for a long time they should drop the not separating pve and pvp because feel lot of the changes they do get rid of off-meta builds and force people to go more streamline or boring builds

  17. Yeah, I was hoping next patch would be much better than the disaster that was fob, but it seems they still don't know how to balance stuff, but…. It's only the 3rd week we'll see

  18. All they have to do is make it like trial sets (i.e. increasing your damage done to Dungeon, Trial, and Arena Monsters by 5%)

Make it so certain sets only work against npcs and others against players only.

  19. Thanks a lot Skinny.. i just feel like there are now just way too many sets in this game and >50% are probably not used/usable.. maybe they need to get rid of this concept.. you can maybe build your own sets.. choose light/med/heavy or combo(with advantages/disadvantages) + enchantments + choose from list of proc conditions/attributes .. that way even zos can control what conditions are available in pvp/pve.. having fixed conditions on mythic would be fine because those would be unique to them.. i dunno.. i just feel overwhelmed with number of sets and underwhelmed with what they provide.. .. just wanna feel whelmed..

  20. It's interesting seeing the conversation around separate sandbox balancing between PvE & PvP coming from someone who primarily plays Destiny 2.

Bungie recently started balancing PvE & PvP separately with their newest Subclass, Stasis, and it's been such a positive response by the community.

Hopefully ZoS gains inspiration and does that same cause man is it nice lolol.

  21. Honestly, the nerf that pisses me off the most is Winter's Respite – not only nerfing it with the others (by scaling on a much higher magicka pool than I would normally run, and I assume I'm not that far off par with others), but I get why they did that (the tank meta IS getting very old) but bumping the tick from 1 second to 2 second without bumping the tick value at ALL? Yah, that's total BS and I'm mad – they took one of my favorite playstyles and just tossed it effectively out the window. It will be unusable.

  22. Simple solution #1: enable crit for proc sets in PvE content and disable it in PvP.
Simple solution #2: enable crit proc for both PvE and PvP BUT jack up player crit resistances.
Simple solution #3: disable proc sets for PvP areas.
This is however not the biggiest problem of ESO at all. The biggest problem is that there is THE BEST loadout for stamina DD and THE BEST loadout for magicka DD and that's it no matter the class. By "loadout" I mean sets that dd wear, potions that they use and sets that heals and tanks are supposed to wear to support DDs.

  23. I love the changed!! Spot on! Funny to hear a pve player complain about procs not being strong enough now! It’s like 100dps isn’t good enough!😂 i miss the days when 60dps was considered high.

  24. Zos refuses to make one big change the game needs. Separate pve and pvp sets and allow some to only be worn in pve and some to only be worn in pvp. They could have saved a lot of time already with all these proc balancing calculations by doing that.

  25. Proc set changes suck in my opinion. Its fine in pvp but pve its not to good. They really should just have it separate instead of adjusting both pve and pvp. Just add the proc set changes into the Battle spirit thing like JonesFPS said.

  26. They just forcing us into every one running same dps sets these nerf does not alow for us to use other sets and have fun with

  27. Zos just needs to stop screwing pver’s over, they need to separate pvp and pve from each other and do proper adjustments, instead of pampering one side and f*cling over the other side.

  28. Nerfs across the board for PVE. CP passives halved (they were trash, now not even worth the levels), proc set nerfed (particularly for mag toons), mystic orb nuked, etc.

  29. So Zaan set not worth using on magsorc in dungeons now? Better to go two 1 pieces that give crit chance? 1 piece Zaan and one piece slimecraw? Typical Zos nerf Zaan just a few days after I got the set.

  30. Former ps4 player, 99% pve and begrudgingly 1% pvp. Quit about a week into cp2.0 decided I'm going xbox for next gen, so was pointless grinding from 1700 to 3600cp. Been watching a lot of channels in the meantime. Probably going to stay away for bit longer than was planning. Just wanted to say, keep up the good work, you give honest opinions about the game unlike other channels that bury their head up zos arse.
