  1. Just looking at the pads, you can see that ps5 would be better. The positioning of the d-pad looks awkward on the series as well which is a sha.e because I liked xbox pads for fighting games

  2. I still prefer DS4 over both. SeX controller is AMAZING…just not for Tekken. It's actually decent for 2D fighters. PS5 pad is cool too, but it's way too stiff for me for Tekken. I miss inputs all the time with it.

  3. I remember back when I played on pad I played with the xbox elite controller which had a dpad kind of like the series x controller. When I tried a ps4 controller it just felt off like I was missing more inputs on the dpad. Not sure how much different the ps5 controller is to the ps4 though, it might be way better.

  4. Been listening for months to people saying the dpad on the Series X controller is better than on the DualSense! They always mention it 'should' be better for fighting games but this is the first time I have actually seen someone compare the two – with an actual fighting game. Thank you for helping clear up which one is better!!

  5. I have played on both and it honestly boils down to comfortability and how long you have been using the pad. For example I had 3 busted dpads for ps4, so I purchased a hori mini for 15 bucks until I bought some more replacement parts. I tried going back to the ps4 dpad and it felt bulky and unnatural to me which I thought was weird because it was my preferred the ps4 dpad. Lol I also won a local tournament with the hori mini also. So to put things into perspective once and for all; its not the dpad, its the person using the dpad and how long they have been using it. Anytime you switch dpads or even try to go back it is going to feel weird in the beginning until the adaptation is made.

  6. I don't even wanna think about playing tekken on a xbox dpad that sounds awful! With that said however I kinda switch between the two I find the ps controller better for fighting, retro, rpgs and platform games while the xbox is superior in FPS and action

  7. I need a nice clicky pad for tekken. Dual Shock has always been best for me. I have tried on xbox before and just cant get the movements quite right because of the Dead being all one button instead of individual. Prevents precise movements as the chance of fat fingering is higher. Good luck doing a d,df, consistently.
