I’d be interested in a critique of the Dark Pictures games because a couple friends of mine think they’re great and I’m kind of the odd one out.
How about Control?
I wouldn't mind hearing the harsher side of Luke Stephens' critiques. Don't think you have to make it an epic as you do with games you enjoy, but I'd very much be interested in hearing you speak critically on things you did NOT enjoy.
So it became a '90s adventure game? There is a reason they moved away from moon logic.
I remember getting to play P.T and looking up at the balcony 💀
Still have it on my PS4 (:
PT lets your own mind chase you.
Not into horror movie or games, hate to say I can see it coming, but I do with damn near everything. This was other worldly when it dropped. The forums of theories… really a huge moment in gaming, and from A DEMO
I'm no expert but it seems like a big stretch to me that performing stories didn't actually come before writing them. (also: yes please, do Dark Pictures)
I really wouldn’t want to play an entire game that’s just like PT. imagine you’re stuck at a part of a game and you can only solve it with other people’s help because Kojima, it just kinda kills the mood.
Even to this day this game scares the hell out of me. Even whilst reading the comments I'm struggling to watch the clip whilst typing
Imagine Metal Gear Solid V and Silent Hills in the same generation by Kojima,That was really close .
Remembering you, stealing others people content….. 😌
I don't know how anyone could ever figure these puzzles out without a guide
Am bored
i still believe this was a diss track for Konami from Hideo Kojima
1:05 my man over here looking like the personification of wrath
Kinda clickbaity and didn't follow through with any observation that revealed anything new. "Puzzles vague but good narrative". Ok.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on The Dark Pictures!
There is an amazing series about PT by the grate debate that really changed my mind about the game
Are you gonna do a Cyberpunk 2077 critique?
I mean, until dawn was gooood and then DP Anthology was so baadddd
Yo Luke Cyberpunk's e3 demo was fake.. Smh
For that basically guessing puzzle. Imagine this, you are looping in your own personal hell with no way to get out for so long that you start to loose it, doing random stuff, look at faded mirror for a while, walking and staring at stuff, listen to static and try to make sense of it, try to reason with the ghost or even talk to yourself, all with a distorted sence of hope.
In my eyes, in this specific case it is genious, it is what the game wants to be. When this teaser puts you a in looping hell, It is completly different from being stuck in a dumb puzzle of a moving game. Would it work in a otherwise "normal" game, I don't think so, maybe, but in PT it made it what it is.
