Ranking the classes in Outriders from best to worst! These are just my personal opinions, if you disagree let me know how you would rank them. Obviously this video is extrapolation and just for fun and I am sure all the characters will be viable at endgame. If you enjoyed the video, be sure to drop a like, comment and subscribe!

  1. EDIT INTRO EDITING FAIL! ITS RENDERING OUT NOW SORRY!!!
How would you rank the characters? (Obviously this is speculation and I am sure all the characters will be viable if you put the time into them)

  2. I have a feeling that the Trickster and Pyro are going to flip at end game. I really like Trickster but I wonder how well it will be when everything scales up and we fight crazy bosses.

  3. I haven't spent much time with the pyro yet, so I can't really speak to that class. I got really lucky with mods on the Devastator, so it's hard to gauge how much of my enjoyment with that character would be mitigated without those mods. I've got The Strongest First, Bullet Acceleration, and Blood Primer so I can take out a whole room with Reflect Bullets. I like the technomancer for dropping a turret and then sniping everyone. I know one-shot sniper kills probably won't last in the endgame, but I'm loving it at this point. My only complain is that the Ricochet mod doesn't appear to be working. I've tried it on a sniper and an AR and haven't seen the Jakobs effect kick in with either yet. The trickster is fun, but I haven't had much luck with mods for him so I'm struggling because the Hunt the Prey/Temporal Blade combo isn't killing even basic mobs, so I just find myself surrounded and shieldless too often.
Based on suriveability in my experience I'd rank them 1) Devastator 2) Technomancer and 3) Trickster
Based on enjoyment with my playstyle, I'd rank them 1) Technomancer 2) Devastator and 3) Trickster

  4. Moxsy, this is just an average destiny clone. After playing demo, I can say it's not bad. But it is just average in all aspects. Average graphics, sound design, level design, story, etc. Its just don't worth to spend time. Can't understand your interest to this game.

  5. Its funny how metas are formed in games like this. The pyromancer is probably the best class in the game due to already having some of the lowest cooldown on skills and has some immediate class skills in thier tree (a factor oddly left out of this tier list for some reason) for weapon damage and ability damage on Assault weapons (the most diverse weapon class) and abilities. This doesn't even take into account that pyromancer heals from killing enemies killing enemies that are affected by abilities. I am calling it now, the pyromancer will be in the tops for classes by endgame since it doesn't require you to be up close to enemies to heal and do massive damage.

I think the demo is truly misleading because it gives the damage ability to the Trickster and Technomancer early whereas the Pyromancer doesn't get its ability damage skill until later (not in the demo). Considering that Pyromancer is basically your space mage class, i image that this will be the class that will lay waste to groups of enemies. I did some world tier five testing with all anomly power gear, basically pushing my ability damage well beyond what is likely going to be viable in the full game and I don't see how anyone can walk away from the demo and not see that the Pyromancer is going to be the king of crowd clear. With mods that allow you to use certain skills multiple times before it triggers a cooldown allows this class to combine skills in ways that other classes can't. This leads to all kinds of fun havoc like setting whole groups of enemies on fire then detonating them with a skill that makes enemies explode on death makes the pyromancer my main character as soon as the game launches. Space magic for the WIN!

  6. My ranking:

    4. Devastator: just gonna put it here for now, cause I havent tried it yet.

    3. Technomancer: I think its not a bad class per se, but early on pretty hard to level, if you are playing solo. Probably, because of its purpose, being a support class for multiplayer. Havent played this class a whole lot, due to a lack of time.

    2. Pyromancer: When I started playing the game, I was not really impressed with the class. But I wasnt really aware of all the mods either, what they do, which exist, etc. Now that I think about it, it can probably be a very strong class, at the cost of survivability. Now, it does get a gold amount of heal from its abilities, but it usually takes some time to be able to heal. For me its more a glasscannon class, and I think thats its purpose. Cause with the current skills and future scaling, it could potentially be a mobbing monster, like Krieg.

    1. Trickster: While I dont really have a whole lot of exlerience with that one either, I think its still the best class right now. Its strong, its easy to use and you can heal fairly easy, without some weird restriction, like the Pyro has. Just get yourself a shotgun and you can deal massive damage, while being able to survive. But in terms of late game, I still think the Pyromancer will be better at mobbing, while the Trickster will be at a middle ground between good crowd control and single target damage.

  7. The trickster seems to be a mass effect vanguard + a wizard pretending to be a rogue. The devastator also has a vanguard thing ofc, but the character they tried to make a "mage" the pyromancer, seems to be the worst at being a wizard. Technomancer, the other wizard, and the trickster are the actual wizards with tanking and healing as their sub themes

  8. I played with pyro and once I was able to understand and utilise the skills it made such a difference being able to mark enemies and gain health back just allowed me to live longer and do so much more in the game

  9. i feel like the thrickster will be the main support. All of its mod have a reliable way to get shield or apply vulnerable to one or more enemies. If you add also the fact that he can stack armor with a particular mod and got the time slow you have a perfect Crowrd controller in your hand

  10. 1. Trickster
    2. Pyro
    3. Devastator
    4. Technomancer
Sadly the Techno is basically fighter/ ranger man. Average gunplay style class. Nothing wrong with it just the abilities we got were lackluster so far. It is a demo afterall.

  11. Pyro is the most slept on character in the demo. He is weak until you get the chest + leg piece that does extra damage to targets hit by earthquake and overheat which does 60% extra dmg to enemies

  12. I really wanted to like this, but there's something about it. I had some fun with different parts of the "demo" (its 100% a beta), but by the end I was so bored that I couldn't even bring myself to turn it on anymore. It's not the full game, but I just get a vibe that its going to be very VERY repetitive in both combat and loot aspects. I may still buy it, but It's definitely a "wait for reviews" type of game.

  13. Devastator and Trickster were my favorites in the demo, love being aggressive to stay alive. Pyromancer was fun, but I felt I had to be balanced defensively and offensively. The technomancer just seemed like I had to throw out my cryo turret, then hide and snipe; not my style.

  14. I agree with all your pics. I always felt the Devastator is slower trickster because they are both the "up close and personal" class and the trickster can get just as tanky as the devastator with his shield. But than again this is just a demo so this is very subject to change in the future and when the game launches.

  15. The Trickster was the only character I had a problem with on the first captain. I couldn't get past him until I got a decent shot gun. I didn't have the fourth ability yet. I literally couldn't do enough damage. He'd heal back up to full health and I'd be out of amo. I went back to town and an auto shotty was at the vendor. That made a huge difference. I was able to take the captain out in a couple clips. I'd say the Trickster is very depend on gear. You need a good weapon for them to be visible. I like all the class now. Some definitely have a stronger start but… With the proper gear and build they are all OP.
