  1. Raptors couldn't catch a break missing 3 of their starters who contribute over 40% of are offense all 3 being damn near elite if not elite defenders down 7 coaches. And on the second night of a back to back having to travel all the way from Florida to Boston. And it still took the Celtics needing to get 40FT attempts to win the game. That was the only difference in the game. Was that the Celtics took 23 more FT attempts and outscored the Raptors by 15pts at the FT line.

  2. 40-17 free throw advantage for the Celtics. So many missed calls on Toronto man the refs just don’t like this team. Probably the 10th game this season where Raptors have less than half the amount of free throws than the other team.

  3. Every Celtic shot over 50% except Walker and Brown, 8 in double figures. Some missed shots down the stretch that kept it close. C's need to step up the D and free each other up for better shots and these games won't be so close.

  4. I feel like the raps are better shorthanded. They'd win a significant amount of more games this way. Their shooting is good, passing game is good, and defense is aggressive. Especially without Siakam. There are plays and key possessions he just posts up and bricks it so many times. If they get key on those possessions without him they could be a legit contender for maybe the 7th.

  5. Baynes getting beat on the boards by a guard🤔 lack of run outs on the 3 point line that they are use to, probably missed having more guys in the line up that would allow more contest.

  6. I’m not really disappointed in this loss we needed a week of for our coaching staff and players health, now that the all star break is here and none of our players are in the all star game ( which I would rather have cause I don’t wanna risk one of our players getting covid) we could have a nice break get healthy then go on a streak we were short handed missing siakam vanvleet and OG and almost won also when they had 40 free throws this shows what a team we are we almost beat a top 5 team in the east with 3 key players missing

  7. Raptors 14-17 at the line. Celtics 29-40, yes this is correct. The Celtics got 23 more free throws than the Raptors. I don't care how good a team you are. If the other team gets 40 free throws and you only get 17, you are not going to win. Even without their three best players and most of their coaches the Raptors kept it close.

  8. Don't want to jinx things, but it seems like the C's are getting hot at the right time. Tatum is starting to heat up, and Kemba finally playing the way his contract demands. I think Ainge still needs to make a move if they want to contend for a finals appearance
