My towns people are having kids but I can't get a lady to have anything to do with me.
I am going to be like my uncle and not have any kids.
So I had an idea to pass along… it shouldn't be too hard to code in but how about curved roads, fences, and palisades? Just put down the lines and move individual sticks to create the shape you want. Also, who thinks a town planning map would be a good idea? Would definitely help in spacing buildings and farms…
Just as a warning when you plan… The main flaw with roads, and I hope it will change, is that you can't put anything on them. I had the same idea for a town square type of thing, cleared out an area to put a fire and benches like the other villages, then discovered I couldn't put anything down on it. So any community area like that has to still have all the undergrowth and bushes 🙁

Also flirt with a woman that you can't recuit, they start with a 10 skill.
Baranica has a 18 year old, non recuitable, but Firt-able girl with a +10 farming.
Unless something has changed, i have found the best way to automate food is through the barn, villagers are fine living on cabbage.
One 5×4 cabbage field has worked for 28 villagers, the only negative is you might need more than one food storage.

Kage, "Work in Progress" means that there are plans for the perk/mechanic be implemented in future content patches, but it is currently not a functioning feature. Any points you put into those perks are wasted at the present time as far as I know.
Normally I hire only women or only men (depending on skills) until I reach the buildings cap.
Why can't they be longer dang it. I get into the episode and it's over. Still good though keep it up

in medieval times kids used to work on the fields as soon as they were 7 or 8 years old.
If the town doesn't centre around the tavern, are you even medievalling?
I am pretty sure you need good approval rate before you get better flirting results with women… So perhaps do the approval thing first, then start flirting?

Kage if you don't want them to have kids make sure that their happiness is low (near zero). I had for many years women and men living together in the worst houses and none of them had kids. Atleast that worked for me. Simple small houses built with wattle walls and roofs of straw. (The only bad thing with that is the need of wood when you get like 20 ppl or more)
My wife in the game is giving me an attitude 😅that she wanted to work in a sewing station because working in the farm is so hard and dirty .. like lmao she’s not even working because she just gave birth..🤣😂
Kids should be able to gather sticks, mushrooms, and berries after they turn 5 or 6.
I always feel guilty about holding the girl I'm chatting to … at spear point.
They should make it so that kids in the village can get buckets of water at age 5 or 6. That would be epic
You forgot traps! A rabbit trap will give you daily meat for the girls..
Hello Kage848, great gameplay. If you put male and female with 10 years or more age difference they won't make babies. Also, the chicken lady in Borrowo, Inga, is very easy to recruit as wife.
It is not a people limit now, the problem is the building limit.
Can you tell me why you don’t want your people reproducing?
in my game babies seem to be based off happiness of parents. Not sure if dad mom specific applies. Hope you see this.

Houses can hold 3 or 4 people but only 1 family. Almost need a barracks or rooming house to get new people then make individual houses if they say they want to get married. Could control population a bit by not letting them wed immediately but if you don't their happiness could go down each season, starting with a low drop but increasing each season. After a couple of years both of the couple would leave to find a place to be together.

Ever since the new update, the NPCS breed like rabbits!! Lol
Yea now the strat seems to be male and female villagers but rotate around the pairs every season (or year depending upon season lengths in your game) to keep from not having children early game
Also it gives you more time to max out stats before having children ….from what I've read they average the stats of the parents….so ideally, You especially but all the villagers also should be max so the kids can be pumped as possible early on.
Pair villagers accordingly to their stats when the time comes for babies so you get the desired stats you want on the kids.
Kids can do rod fishing, maybe spear fishing also. And im sure at 10 years old they can fead a chicken and colect one egg and a feather

ok so here's the thing with this game…… i tell a girl that if she needs anything she can tell me etc. but then i get -10 affection bc she says i dont think im ready for such a commitment yet. then i go to hey do you have a minute… i say hey how have you been? and she says im great thank you for asking…..

Kage, the first skill in each group makes you level up faster. Level cap is 10, and your wife can respect you.
