I always start resident evil games on normal and if I really enjoyed my experience I'll go through it again on hardcore.
I was just about to bring up that opening attack sequence on hardcore and then you guys addressed it haha.

A lot of reviewers have been saying to play on hardcore and all I gotta say is that it makes the game insufferable and turns every enemy into bullet sponges. Do not play on hardcore until NG+
I really wish i started game on Hardcore. Like he said standard is not "easy" at first but late game it is pretty easy.

If you haven't played start on hardcore. Normal is way too easy I'm seven hours in and have only died twice. I've never ran out of ammo either.
In that same scene where you were deflecting the arrow with the knife, i shot a sniper shot at the enemy- destroyed the arrow and secured the headshot

@ #8 was included in the game, it just takes reading the journal to find out… theres a lot that the journal tells you, same goes with #6 except it even gives you a prompt to tell you its there at the beginning of the game, dont even need to use the journal.
Enemies way too slow on Normal, so I completely agree about Hardcore first.
The reason I cannot watch the video is because it spoils the weapons and boss fight with not even talking about just look at the gameplay
Played the game all the way through taking my time and it only took me a little over 10hrs to beat. Waaaaaay too short for $60. I was looking forward to a 20 to 30hr playthrough. I was mistaken clearly but really enjoyed what I played. The story of Ethan is really good.

You find a cylinder upgrade for the magnum that completely refills the ammo to 7. That ammo refill is very important.
No dis to anyone but why is everyone talking about RE4 it had the worst and tankest controls of the whole series Now 5 and 6 are really good to some that's when you got to experience loose moving characters you could punch, kick, and dodge anytime minus the stamina,,RE4 Story was great game play was ass.
Did safe room music even play for anyone? Like I think it might have either been a bug or super quiet.

You CAN win the opening attack. Theres even a reward in the game for doing so
You forgot about spanking lady dim with a fly swatter
You up grade the magnum by buying the cylinder save that for the last fight if you are playing hard-core you will need every magnum round you can get

That lycan attack on hardcore is like mia on madhouse. Hardest part of the game.
