The camera is what made me shit myself as a kid playing the PS1 Original. You never knew when the next jumpscare comes. Especially in the 3rd game, Nemesis could break through walls around any corner. Made me throw away the PS1 controller a few times.

In my personal opinion RE1 is one of the best games I’ve ever played. Especially the remake. They did a good job of honoring the first game but adding enough to feel like a new game. As far as the door scenes. I like it and since it’s a remake those had to be in the original RE because the acted as loading screens for the next area. Not to mention it’s pretty iconic. The inventory system is also meant to be small. It’s a survival horror game lol. You have to be very picky and choosy about what you want to have and what you deem as important. Wouldn’t be that great of a survival horror game if you walked around as a walking armory/medicine cabinet and decimated everything. I love your vids and you do make some good points but idk this one I don’t personally really agree with

From what I can see, this game isn’t gamer friendly, but it’s gamer centered. This game came from a time where vijda was absolutely exploding, so they made games that made you earn your right of passage
