(HARDCORE MODE) The onslaught actually starts when you enter the room regardless if you barricade the door or not. Thing is I had a routine of barricading the first door he shows in the video and a particular route but I always trapped myself when I ended up back at that house because the map is so confusing when your adrenaline is going. So after losing over probably a hundred times on harcore mode, I didn’t give up and I didn’t barricade that door which created an entrance for me as I ran them around in circles until the cutscene. One monster will enter the room if you don’t barricade the door but just hit the flour bags in his eyes and dont climb down the ladder to the bottom of the house, just jump down. The house you will see after you leave the basement has a door in the back of it, barricade that door, collect your shotgun shells, green herb, etc. and wait till they open the door and shoot the barrel killing multiple monsters. Collect your loot then hurry and head up that ladder to the roof, jump down and run all the way to the end on the left where the locked gate is and shoot the barrel as the monsters come near you. After that, run down, bear right and follow the blood trail leading to that first house with shotgun THEN barricade the door! After that just try to run, block, and shoot with your shotgun and pistol as much as you can until the cutscene. If you can find the original door with the hole in it you can kill time and barricade that one also but you’ll be trapped at the top of the steps, shoot them, then jump down off the side of the steps if they don’t die. The big werewolf guy isn’t really a problem just stay out of his way. The real trick is getting enough healing items because no matter how many times you kill them, more will come, so as your blowing up barrels and running from them YOU WILL GET HIT but the more your able to heal the better chance you have at surviving.
I just got really lucky, they wouldn’t break down the barricade in the second house you go to so I just stood there and waited until the cutscene played, didn’t do anything different so god knows what caused it (playing on village of shadows difficulty)
On my blind and drunk play through, I had no idea what I was doing. I got lost and ran around until the cutscene came up. I never knew it was a survive and still for time sort of situation.

Dude thank you! Ive never played resident evil before and I had it downloaded while I was at work. Got home after 10 hour shift and was ignorant enough to play on hardcore. Through every part leading into this fight im shitting myself because i suck with anything horror and I was trying to sneak around these guys and once I would hear the howl of the attack i thought I was fucked and would panic. Had no clue or background knowledge on how I was supposed to play. Thank you, prepared for round 2 tonight
This part is kicking my butt on Hardcore!! I think Capcom got mad at all the speedrunners becuz it seems super difficult. On normal i beat this part easy, but i will try this strat thank you!
Are you playing on normal difficulty? I tried to do it your way, but on hardcore it felt like timer is a bit longer, so i had to do several more circles around area before cutscene launched. For those struggling i suggest trying to stay on roof a bit longer (use pistol then werewolves climb, they will drop), then run to underground tunnel again (wait there for like 10 sec then use powder keg), then run at roof again and try to stay as long as you can. If you looted enemies you probably can craft 15 additional pistol ammo. After that you can try to repeat it again (wide circle – tunnel – roof). I finished on third roof climb. Good luck, guys 🙂
Yeah dad tipps work so long you played on esay or standart but when you will play veteran that tipps are usless behinde the red door is the dead

I think you have to survive till urias comes, then you have to run to the little river in front of the crawlspace for the scene to trigger
past on my frist try. medium difficulty. went down the ladder of the house wher you find the shotgun and just killed them all 1by1. knife for the most part. ran out of ammo. cutscene triggers when you kill a certian number of them
That doesn’t work with hardcore lol it’s survival of the fittest
This is my second play through so I had 30 rounds with my sniper and I stayed in the first house guarding the blocked door to prevent the werewolves from getting in. You just have to survive until time triggers the cutscene.

What difficulty are u playing on?
Hardcore? I'm playing village of shadow and my god some of these spots that people like to hide and run like the basement are completely useless as theirs armored Lycans down their who will one shot you. Regular Lycans who will stun lock you and I just don't understand how to trigger the cutscene. Those armored guys don't even get stunned by shot guns lol its rough
Yeah I bought the game yesterday and when I got to this part I thought I went the wrong way multiple times while running but I didn’t die once
I hate times encounters on video games. Especially if it’s a chase. I’d rather stand and fight.

ur way was a good start but it wouldnt trigger the cutscene and i kept getting swarmed so after the roof i went to the second barrel instead ran back to begining and dropped down the ladder back to the roof using shotgun as needed until the cutscene hit i thought i died when it did
is this village of shadows difficulty
I beat this on standard. Went in oblivious and beat it with no death on this part. Now I'm playing on VOS difficulty and mannnnnn. Took me forever to beat this part.
Yeah really simple guide, put game on normal mode AKA ultra easy and follow this guy because I have spent almost 2 hours on hardcore on this section of the game.
