The sentinel and rampage return to the loot pool in Apex Legends, but Respawn decided to nerf the Rampage as well! Both damage and thermite charge have been nerfed.

  1. I think the main problem with the gun is the magazine size, you even see it in one of the fights Kandy has in this video 2:50, you can miss so many shots and by the time the enemy is forced to reload you still have bullets, happens all the time.

  2. They didn't nerf it enough, it needs a massive recoil increase

    Only dog water players like it because it gives them a chance to beat someone who is way better then them due to taking 0 skill and taking no recoil control. It's amazing that devs can't figure out that high damage needs to come with high recoil control. Car, r99, and flatline are powerful but take skill to control and down people. Rampage no recoil, no penalty for missing over 3 quarters of ur mag because it still downs you.

  3. I think people tend to forget that the rampage is a gun that's easy to use with a lot of damage in a BATTLE ROYALE. It's was the same when the spitfire became meta and every match at least 2 people per team was using it leaving almost no variety for other players to enjoy. When they disabled the rampage i saw that a lot and i mean A LOT of players struggling to use other guns like the r99 or the flatline since they are all use to the rampage.

Good idea, move the rampage to care package, increase the rev per bullet even more so it only lasted in 20 bullets or so, but make it works like sentinel where you can recharge it but cost nothing, so basically like an L-star but also have mag, the first 20 shot is revved up and the rest is normal fire rate until you charge it again

  5. I’m on the same page with it not being that crazy of a weapon to me either.

    Outside of the charge (which is ridiculous but super fun), I think the gun is mostly fine. Like it’s very strong but so is everything else.

  6. Hear me out. Switch the spitty out with the ramp. Drop the mag size. Put the rampage in there with a regular charge and have it last almost for 1.5 charges, but have another charge inbetween for longer times. That would be a proper care package weapon. Also decrease the spread.

  7. Yes, guns do not kill fast enough in Apex anymore. This has been a major problem for years now, ever since Evo shields arrived. There's no longer any incentive to play cautiously/cleverly because everyone has enough armour to survive just rushing head long at people. Makes lobbies super toxic with pred teams just octane padding around and dunking on everyone. Lower the TTK so you can actually down a player in one clip and the whole dynamic of the game changes, for the better.

  8. Rampage is still better than the scout and hemlock for ranged kills and it pretty much THE 3rd party weapon. Sitting with a 3X and stealing all the kills from two teams fighting. Also you can thirst downed enemies with even gold and purple shields pretty easy.

  9. The entire LMG type of weapons in apex sucks, so the rampage being at least very useful in mid third partying range carries LMGs, otherwise SMGs shotguns and ARs are generally way better
