  1. You want to re apply agony before it expires because it keeps the current amount of stacks on the target. Something that you frequently missed out on, in the video. Other than that, great job!

  2. I love your content but I have to completely disagree with covenants' argument. You have little no choice on what covenant you can choose, Kyrian is by far the strongest in most of the scenarios. Its dmg is too high respect to others, it applies another dot and generates soul shards. The only other decent choice is impending catastrophe for mythic, but that is terrible in every ST scenario. Decimating bolt was nerfed to the ground and Aff has access to only ONE buffed DS, not three. Soul rot is just garbage, you can't just talent inevitable demise in place of DS and you need too much synergy to buff an ability that sucks.

  3. Been playing aff since 2004, the thing is, aff was always an all arround good to very good spec for multiple types of encounters, from aoe to single to cleave to spread, i always said, the thing is this spec is automating damage with instant cast repeatedly (meaning mobility and ability to do something "else" while doing more and more damage).
So from a gameplay perspective it will always be good, in legion they tried to attack the "automatic" damage, aka dots, and focusing on incremeting dot damage with single target powerups, it was a mess, in the big rework of legion "aoe" was saved by legendaries (making dots explode), in bfa the dot exploding was gone, and aff was left with the pre legendary type of gameplay but, with low dot damage, so the curve of power was broken for the first time in history, was left in the worse state (no aoe for a multi dot spec, yep, that weird).
Now in shadowlands, dots still are crap but the "dots exploding" type of gameplay is back, malefic rapture is too reliant on shards, thats why it will scale better with shard generation above anything.
In PVP its obvious why it will always be from medium to very good, "damage style".
The big revelation to doing damage as aff is to know when to burst, trinkets are of extreme importance, the shorter the fights are the most important.
Many youtubers dont find drawbacks, thats because two things: 1.- the rest of the specs in in bad o pre-buffed state, or 2.- they fail to see the real power curve.
The real power curve for this spec is based on target uptime, when you play with competent people, other specs have better sinergy with the battle, making aff fall back to a medium-high spot at best.
In conclusion, this always happen, it will always be good until the people get their builds and fingers up to date.
