  1. I do hope they return support for the game. The graphics are still amazing. The gameplay is solid. They can just add more content and it'd still be a very very good game. Battlefront2 could have been the "fortnite" of Starwars if they return support!

  2. I don't think I've ever seen support for a game drop with so many active players before. A very silly move on their part, especially after the influx of fresh players from the Epic store free giveaway.

  3. I got into BF2EA pretty late – when it was on offer for £3 a year or so after release I think. Because I wasn't willing to support EA with my wallet and I had heard about what a buggy mess it could be.

But when I did get into it I enjoyed it a fair amount – flawed but fun. This channel was my go to for news or coverage in general and after watching this video I realized how much I miss the informative and well made content ending with that outro.

Good work Battlefront Knight you're a solid content creator =]

  4. This is all great news! I played tons on xbox when it first came out and I bought it on pc not long ago, but it was hard to find matches on pc. Seems like maybe that won't be a problem anymore.

  5. To be honest I rather them Cancel BF3 and them continue support on BF2. Like I’d be 10000% down if they make a paid expansion that adds a whole new Era, more likely it will be the High Republic. Like if we still support them we can get more content, heroes, maps, etc.

  6. Personally I think a BattleFront 3 is in the works, as someone who wasn’t a massive fan of the new games (not that I think BF2 is bad, just personal preference) I wish they would take ideas from games like Planetside 2 where instead of tons of planets across a bunch of maps they’d just have wide scale battles for territory over a massive area. A mode like that would really make you feel like you’re in an active war zone and a full battle of attrition on Geonnosis would be awesome

  7. Specifically, the Star Wars hype went into overdrive because of 2 things: 1st, obviously the free release, and 2nd, the Mandalorian giving the finger to the sequel garbage movies and bringing Luke Skywalker back. The latter crashing Disney Plus servers. The sequels destroyed Star Wars. That's why EA dropped support. Star Wars numbers for all media and toys were in a free fall. Then The Mandalorian happened, giving Star Wars fans what they've been crying out for from the beginning. REAL Star Wars. Combine that with the free release of Battlefront 2 and you have a tidal wave. If only I could remove the sequel garbage from my copy of Battlefront 2 I'd be ecstatic.

  8. I haven’t played since launch on Xbox and I got it for free on my pc and I’m enjoying it so much more than before and I noticed that I can pretty much get into a game in 10 seconds which is even faster than launch que times

  9. It's a beautiful game with slick gameplay, I just have to talk about netcode.
The game gets quite frustrating when your hits won't register, or have the registration at a delay of at least a second.
It could be because of the server capacity being overloaded, because I keep getting placed into matches where I get the "your connection is bad, so expect negative effects on your gameplay" issue.
Fix that, and you have a great game in your hands.
