Steph Curry TO SIGN With The Los Angeles Lakers – Leaving Golden State Warriors? | NBA Rumors

Oh boy, you, my fellow Golden State Warriors fans might not like this discussion but considering the last few games, we don’t have much good to talk about other than analyze probable scenarios to make the warriors better. It’s not a big secret that the absolute majority of Dubs nation absolutely adores Stephen Curry both as a Warrior and individual player. But one has to wonder how happy Curry is with the current state of the team. Taking into account the last two seasons and the fact that Curry’s contract is coming to an end, I would like to discuss his future trajectories this summer other than the most obvious one – signing an extension with the Dubs. And one of the most, if not THE most thrilling and exciting possible direction for Steph is the Los Angeles Lakers, joining LeBron James.

Today, we’ll talk about the chances of a Stephen Curry to the Los Angeles Lakers scenario and his potential cooperation with Lebron James, along with pros and cons of this move but before that, smash that like button, subscribe to the channel if you haven’t done so already, and hit that notification bell to get updates on our latest NBA content.

Let’s keep rolling
This year’s All-Star game displayed to us how dangerous an alliance of Lebron James and Stephen Curry could potentially be. LeBron dished numerous dimes to Steph during the game and both have played very well, showing a great level of chemistry, and after the game both complimented each other’s game, even making posts on Twitter.

“Finally got to share the floor with Stephen Curry. Well overdue and I loved every single second!!” – tweeted The King
“Much love bro! hashtag Team LeBron with the W while we at it” – replied Chef Curry
Both also mentioned their birthplace, the city of Akron putting the Akron hashtag next to their posts.
Fun fact: LeBron and Curry were born in the very same hospital — Akron General Medical Center, coincidence? Maybe. But what if it’s destiny?
After the aforementioned All-Star Game 2021, many sources have reported that LeBron started the recruitment campaign in order to take Stephen Curry to the Los Angeles Lakers, and we know one thing – if The King wants to play with the player – he most likely will and we have the most recent example of it with Anthony Davis. This rumor has gained ground due to Stephen Curry’s words this March:
“We got to get sick of getting blown out. That’s embarrassing. We have to have some pride in how we’re playing. You can lose games. That’s gonna happen. But not like that.”

Of course, this move is still pretty unlikely to happen with Stephen Curry being the definition of a Warrior, the face of the franchise, and his general satisfaction with the organization. The Golden State Warriors will surely throw big money to destroy even the slightest opportunity of Curry switching teams this summer and will probably make Steph the highest paid NBA player with a 54 million dollar per year extension.
However, let’s imagine that this trade just happened without any “ifs” and “buts”
As I’ve mentioned in my previous videos Stephen Curry has been on a roll throughout the 2020-21 season, with the tailbone injury slowing his MVP pace just a bit. We already analyzed Chef Curry’s numbers this season in my Is Steph Curry ALREADY the GREATEST Point Guard of All Time?
At the moment Curry is averaging 29.4 points on 47.6, 40.6, 92.62 shooting splits.
LeBron James on the other hand who is coming off a great MVP candidate 2019-20 season is on pace. 36 yeas old LeBron James is still willing to adapt and evolve and this might be one of the most important factors why the potential Curry – James collaboration might work.

Even though I would like to see Curry expanding his legacy by playing on championship tier teams, I don’t really want to see the Lakers vs the Nets Finals match-up for 5 years straight, it won’t be fair nor interesting after a while.
The second one is the fact that Steph would have to leave the Bay and it would certainly be very sad to see the Warriors icon go. And of course, it may result in a huge wave of hate surrounding Curry’s probable decision.

I think that Steph will stay with the Golden State Warriors and would like to finish his career there as he said a long time ago but we don’t know when he will sign an extension.

  3. Curry stays he's got to be feeling he's been here before like when before Thompson and Green,,the dubs need some grind out wings,,with length and seasoned big man ,Demarcus they should have gotten back or Mcgee,,and Rudy Gay,,when they had the chance this is all Coach and Owners fault and Green needs to score more ,, the bench,,what bench steph needs a for sure back up that's proven,, but Stephen stays a Dub

  7. warrior fan watch every game love the magic of steph curry unless mr. lacob work some amazing magic even
harder now that both wiseman and clay will be coming back from injury it is not fair to mr.curry to stay
here and never have a shot at another title or even deep in playoffs. I think unless he wants to stay here
for family he owes us nothing has given us much and he should go any where he wishes. as a long time
laker hater going way back I hope he does not go there. but there are a lot of other teams he could go
to in the west or east and I hope he does go and clay should go also not fair to him to stay back that is
if he can. the way to do this is gut the team for a rebuild I would still be a warriors fan. otherwise
the way things worked out I cannot see how we can get the players around steph to make it work. I agree
that these super teams are going to ruin the nba. but I cannot see what the league can do about it.

  8. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Why would Curry ever leave the Dubs? 5 straight nba finals and 3 championships. A legit dynasty. If he were to leave, ain’t ever going to join with a nba championship mercenary.

  9. i just happen to click on this link but I'm an old-school kind of guy. Seems the only way players can win championships these days is if they stack the talent with the leagues' top-tier players instead of building role players the way they did back in the '60s all the way through to the '90s. The league is uninteresting, too politicalized, and too out of touch with the very people that made the league the success it was. It has divided and eroded its fan base and turned off long-time fans like myself. Super Teams suck, political agendas suck. the NBA of today sucks. This is my opinion.

  10. I would love to see it happen ,! It still looks like it boils down to which players can stay healthy . And not get stupid technical fouls you can't help the team when you're sitting in the locker room for getting kicked out the game .

  11. Poor Steph, the plan of GSW is devastating him. His superstardom is affected because of the management, the way they are selecting their players. The way GSW is doing is not good for Steph, Draymond and Klay. The management should think of what these players done to GSW, how GSW rise from the dead. How much money did GSW have for 5 years? Much and much. Now that they have much, they are again getting players to develop? Do the management think that they can develop players again and be a champion in the future? Big NO is the answer. Those players and Iggy and Shaun are special. They got chemistry. When Durant left, they should have just gotten someone who can fill the role of Durant. If you are the manager, which one should you want, spend big money with big stars but making big income? or spend less money for less income?

  12. Money and fame no longer the motivation, with the Nets reforming superteams in their 30s, nothing means more than another ring, so Lakers most likely destination, but steph will be back to retire as a warrior
