  1. alot of people want to keep it into the sci-fi or realistic trope and I agree but I can't help but see this that the megamycyte is a supernatural virus or had paranormal origin, considering how it can create unstable and paranormal forms I just see it as the missing piece to the puzzle

  2. I kinda always knew that Ethan was either dead or suffered brain damage from getting curb stomped in the head by a pretty big dude with super strength and some size 13 army boots. The only thing I'm confused about is if he really was infected and is supposedly just like the rest of the mold monsters we fought then why can think and act like a normal person and how come it didn't spread or get worse in the next 3 years as he was just living life. And why would Mia yet again keep another very important secret. And if he really is dead because he was connected to the mold which was then destroyed then why didn't Rose die or at least lose her powers? She is connected to the mold after all. Probably more so than Ethan was.

  3. so if Miranda was the original cofounder of this mold virus and she made herself immortal, how was Ethan able to defeat her so easily with normal firearms? unless those bullets were dipped in holy water or an antidote serum, i dont see how Ethan could defeat basically a God.

  4. Weelll alot of stuff you said was right except 1.the lycans were the result of caldou expermention not just using the mold
    2. While she did help give Peter the inspiration it was the ruins that predated even Miranda that gave him the umbrella idea
    3. Miranda was never going to get her daughter back no matter what she did because the mold never really brought anyone back from the dead even ethan wasn't entirely dead when he was mutated
Also I think the mold was on ethans side the whole time like seriously think about it why go thru the hoops of getting rid of her fake kids why not just do the ceremony and just kill them after with the kid later truth is I feel like the mold was whispering to her to do the things she did

  5. Long speculation ahead:
I speculate that the Megamycete has a role in the creation of The Progenitor Virus. The flowers found in Africa that contained the virus might be an extension of the organism like spores as a means of adapting possibly to Earth's extinction events while the mother organism remained underground. Since Miranda mentioned that the organism is like a hivemind of collected consciousness of every organism that died, thus I have come to the conclusion that it might be attempting to branch out and adapt to the modern world via human intervention considering it is aware of the events of the Progenitor Virus and is shaped like a fetus.

The question is: Now that the Megamycete has been destroyed by Ethan, who for some reason is chosen by The Mold and allowed to retain his consciousness and personality; does this mean Rose is the perfected adaptation of the Megamycete?

  6. I really liked this game, it’s not as bad as people say it is like it has great villains and a story. Although the boss fights are not my favorite but the game as a whole is great and I think they did a good job with it, sometimes I wonder if some people just try to find bad things in games or what because I think this game is pretty good.
Of course, everyone has their own opinions but this game is not bad at all, I understand if some have problems tho.
Also, I like what they did with Ethan, he went from the least favored character in the franchise to one of the best in just one game.

  7. To me Miranda suffers from show, don’t tell, the game tells you Miranda’s motivation at the end rather then build it, to me she should have shown up a little more in the game and flesh out her character. For me she was just the final boss (very good boss too don’t get me wrong) I really didn’t care about because the game didn’t show anything for me to care about till the end.

  8. How come a scientist like Miranda dress like the enchantress for the ceremony does that means anything to her? Neither does her dress from her final scene is from the year she was originated in
