We back! Big video today as it has been one of the most requested videos since I have started my YouTube channel. Today we’re going to run through my Apex Legends controller settings and i’ll explain in detail my settings and what settings to change if you want your gameplay to change in certain ways. After hitting 50,000 subs on here I started to think about all the cool videos I can do as a way to say thank you and figured I can combine a lot of that into a series for controller players like me. So there will be more in the series to come and a huge thank you to all of you supporting my channel. Means the absolute world to me. Next part of the guide will continue in the Firing Range :). Hope you all enjoy the video!

  1. Wiggnation! Hope you enjoy the video, I know quite a few people have been looking for me to put out a settings video :). Just wanted to add one more thing here. You DO NOT need to buy a $200 controller to be good at the game, but certain features on those controllers may improve your gameplay and allow you to be a better player. Just as a note, I got signed to a pro team on a standard xbox controller and to this day do not use paddles. Scuf Controllers are my personal favorite controller because of the quality, how often they last me, and the warranty support they have, but there are certainly alternatives as well and I may have another video coming soon on different controller options and how to choose the right controller for you. If you are looking for a luxury controller and want both quality and performance my recommendations are the Scuf Prestige and the Scuf Impact (You can use code "NICEWIGG" at checkout and save some money on your order and support me while doing so :D). If you are on a budget you can look at the PowerA Fusion Pro and a couple of other controllers that bring some of the features you'll see on a Scuf or Elite controller into a bit of a more affordable package if your willing to make a few sacrifices on quality and support.

  2. My controller layout ( never seen anyone with it ) :
    Crouch and jump = Right and left paddle ( Sony paddles )
    Tactical ability = L3 / LS
    Loot/Reload = R1
    Sprint = L1 ( so comfy )
    Melee = X / A
    Ping = Square / X
    Jump is also bound to R3 / RS to avoid punching the air mid gunfight

  3. Why tf did I not think of changing my controls😂😂😂😂 not being able to spam crouch has fucked my game play for so long. Thanks for being a g and hooking it up with good ideas wiggy!! Much love brotha

  4. I play on custom controls. I have crouch on r1 and jump on l1. It makes jumping and crouching in fights way easier. I put my tactical on the right stick since I won't be using tac as much as crouch or jump.

    One goal I had was to reduce the amount of time I spent with my thumb off the aim stick (success) the other goal was to make my controller last longer cause I was tired of DIYing it (Also success).

  5. Changed my settings to this and literally felt like the game slowed down a lot for me and I was able to hit my shots way more efficiently. I have the original PS4 like the original original lol and a new PS4 controller so no stick drift.

  6. Bro you're the best, why did no one ever tell me to shut my controller vibration off??? Went to the firing range picked the R301 up and tried to hit some of the moving targets in back at a distance and of course hit only like 3 or 4 shots in the mag. Turned off vibration and I was hitting the target for 70s and 80s. Thank you so much for this single piece of advice, I never realized how much I was fighting my own controller while playing!

  7. I have a scuf and I run the same controls except I have crouch on the far right paddle and jump on the far left so they are just swapped for what you showed but I still use button button puncher because I sometimes push the right stick and would punch the air by accident

  9. I play with alc settings.. After I dialed them in which took a while to really get a feel of what was working and what wasnt for each setting.. It really makes a big difference for a good play style and great aim.. I also play contoller on pc with a scuff.. Great great combo.

  10. Controllers on a pc is cheating

    Each platform gives distinct advantages and disadvantages.

    Controller on pc removs the disadvantages of the 20fps on console, limited button availability, reduced graphics fidelity, you remove all those negatives while adding the advantages of aim assist on controller.

    Controllers/ Consoles have aim assist because of the numerous issues and disadvantages that comes with playing on that platform. if your playing on pc with a controller you need to turn off aim assist or just go play on a console. Where you dont have the CLEAR advantage.

  11. Controller Players on PC are ALL cheating.

    M/kb Players on Console are ALL cheating.

    You literally cant deny it. Any argument you have as to why this isnt cheating can be EASILY trumped. EASILY

  13. lol ALC got it into the game in the same update as octane/s1, and I still tweak my alc settings all the time. is very dumb and hurtful true, but becomes necessary with elite2 + deadzone bc of stick issues.
    another thing to mention is when using alc, sens feels different on basically every different increment of FOV

  14. To each their own in claw. Learned it in halo 2 and always used my middle finger for the trigger. I think it’s the main evolution to keep up with pc movement

  15. I used to switch my sens all the time from low to high but now i use acl and have amazing aim assist and can use mastiff and wingman fast and high pov aim but amazing aim

  16. Personally, I’ve found that when I tried turning vibration off, my gameplay got worse. The vibration lets me know hot king I got shit for so I can estimate how much damage I took, whereas without it, I was underestimating.

  18. Solid video one thing I’d add for controller player that don’t want to purchase a controller with paddles change your L3 to crouch and R3 to jump. Also change your L1-R1 triggers to ads and shoot it’s much easier and more responsive than L2-R2

  19. I had to sell my PC a few months back to pay for some car repairs that I couldn't afford. I received the XBOX Series X as an early Christmas gift. I'm so excited because this means I can play Apex again, which is great, but it also means I now have to play with a controller, so this video couldn't have been more perfectly timed for me. Thanks Wigg!
