PS5 uses a dynamic resolution with the highest native resolution found being approximately 3072×1728 and the lowest native resolution found being 1920×1080. On PS5 native resolution pixel counts seem to often be between approximately 2400×1350 and 1920×1080. On PS5 there is a form of temporal reconstruction used that can increase the resolution up to 3840×2160.

Xbox Series X uses a dynamic resolution with the highest native resolution found being 3840×2160 and the lowest native resolution found being approximately 2816×1584. On Xbox Series X native resolution pixel counts seem to often be between approximately 3840×2160 and 3200×1800. On Xbox Series X there is a form of temporal reconstruction used to increase the resolution up to 3840×2160 when rendering natively below this resolution.

Xbox Series S uses a dynamic resolution with the highest native resolution found being 1920×1080 and the lowest native resolution found being approximately 1600×900. On Xbox Series S native resolution pixel counts at 1920×1080 seem to be common. On Xbox Series S there is a form of temporal reconstruction used to increase the resolution up to 1920×1080 when rendering natively below this resolution.

The PS5 is missing screen space reflections which are present on both Xbox consoles. Edit: The PS5 is also missing fog that is present on both Xbox consoles.

The frame rate can be inconsistent on both Xbox consoles with the frame rate sometimes dropping into the forties or fifties during scenes that previously ran at 60fps http://bit.ly/2YPi44Q This issue wasn’t encountered on PS5.

  2. This is 4k on series x and those frames are stable too so its pretty good going tbh got to expect a few frame drops in a native 4k game especially with the effects in this game ps5 is missing all effects look at how crap the water looks it doesn't look natural and the reflections look off

  3. Seems like every game recently since Destiny 2 Next Gen version has been significantly better on Xbox, with some frame drops confirmed by devs as bugs. I wonder where these Mark Cerny fanboys are now, who claimed the SSD and less CUs were better. Every single game in Jan and so far in Feb has been significantly better on Xbox.

  4. I played about 5 hours on the Series X with my brother last night, first time I've played 2 and it was a very smooth and enjoyable experience for the most part. You do experience a slight dip when you move into new areas but then it seems fine after that.

  5. Frame drops on series X????? Where???? This game runs pretty flawless, even in this video it runs flawless.. Stop lying to protect ps5, ps5 version is outrageous, worst then series S, a lot of effects are missing, problems with reflections, in some cases they don't exist, draw distance it's horrible, the colors are oversaturated, the fog completely absent, lower resolution …. Ubisoft has made a trash job optimizing ps5 version.. Go cry to them.. Now stop stopped creating things that not exist at all.. 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️
