  1. The only player alive that is keeping this champion relevant is Bjergsen, and you can't change my mind on this. They just moved Zilean ULT(R) To A basic ability on Renata's kit. It's a shame, give the old champ some love Riot!

  2. I agree just a visual is all he needs. A new look. Maybe keep the clock on his back… a little smaller clock…and have him walk instead of float

  3. i am a big zilean enjoyer. all he really needs is a morgana level "rework" where just update the visuals and touch up his passive since it is quite clunky sometimes. other than that his kit is pretty well balanced.

  4. Zilean's kit is good and pretty strong. There really isn't a need for a drastic overhalul.

The one exception is his passive. Yes, it is the only ability in game that gives someone additional experience. But its needs improvements not to be clunky and underwhelming. Capping out a level may be a big boost at level 3 or 6 for most champs, but it loses potency late game. Here are ways to make it better:

1.) Lock the granted XP at start of channel. That would let your ADC farm uninterrupted.

2.) Provide a visual cue to which ally gets more XP. Currently his passive shows how close someone is to being eligible for a level by and expanding ring. Have the ring shrink toward the outside as an ally gets closer to levelling on their own.

3.) Reward him / his ally for the completion somehow. The alternative is letting his passive give bonuses as it accumulates, which would encourage not using it.

At present you could change his passive without affecting his play style.

  5. As a Zilean main, I both hope and dread a Zilean rework.
One, if they change his kit too much, I'd seriously hate Riot for it, since it was my very first M7 champion and quite definitely one I have the most fun with.
On the other hand, if they give him a really good visual and lore update, keeping his kit basically as is with very small tweaks that don't change his feel and champion impression, it is gonna be perfect and I would be ecstatic for it.
If Riot does decide to rework him, I hope they deal with it properly.

  6. they don't need to change most of his abilities the only thing that should change is his ult and that is only to make it better, like instead make him rewind an area to the last 5 seconds (edit) also his passive should be changed to his W with the same cooldown and change his W
