Things You Missed in the Silksong News Update

No long, unnecessary intro today. Just right into the content.
We go over lore secrets, hidden gameplay mechanics, and other little tidbits of information that most people likely didn’t notice through their first read-through of the new Silksong interview. I promised I wouldn’t post updates on this too much, but having all this fresh info at once is way too exciting.

All quotes, screenshots, and interview info were cited directly from the source material and interpreted/summarized by me.

  1. This is a great video on the new Silksong news, but what the heck is that footage at 7:00 !?!?

I've played Dark Souls 3 many times and there is no "Gust" spell in the game. Is this a mod? I need answers, please!

  2. TC: "How about we make Hornet a little taller than the knight. Nothing could possibly go wrong…."
Also TC: "And you guys ask why we haven't given you any news since 2019?"

  3. Imagine if, instead of having a dream nail, you develop the art of music with your nail in order to help some of the bugs to break from enchantment or to challenge bugs with it in order to help them break free.

  4. theory: the enemies in this game do more damage are are more difficult than hollow kinight because in hollow knight most of the enemies were basically zombies whereas in silksong most of the enemies seem alive.

  5. Also quick question, why would the removal of an actual downward strike remove pogo'ing from the game? We can still pogo off stuff most likely we just have to aim diagonally now.

  6. I don't care if it takes another year to be developed. They want the game to be as incredible as they can make it, I get it. But GIVE US NEWS. Don't leave us in the dark for months!

  7. The ending of this video with the music made me think of how important it is to have quiet moments in games. The fact that so much of the game is centered around music has me so excited, it's perfect really! They have a great composer working with them and I feel like with such a difference between high-adrenaline moments and Hornets chill times TM, Christopher Larken can make quiet moments GOLDEN. Even more valuable than hollowknight's. I am so excited for this game 🧡
