@2:30 easier to just slap another floor piece on top of existing but extended outward, you can just walk over without having to worry about going the edge

Only decoration tip you need is a stone golem trophy on an item stand and two dragon eggs on item stands either side, slightly lowered.

In terms of hanging items that give off light. I place down crypt keys on the stands, might just be in this video but i feel like in comparison in gives off a much stronger blue glow to the area.

You can build the big firepit (and i think the normal fire, too) on metal wood beams. Two vertical core wood does not work anymore when i tested

The spiral stairs, if use the vert half pillar you inset them half way in it other. If rotate one every time you stack, you make the central beam all the way up, them build the horizontal beams all the way up too. A lote less tedious.
There is a faster way to do building on edge like on 2:30. Just place floor i the half way just laying on your actual floor piece, then u can easly snap another one beneth this half way – it snaps to actual one, and remove that one its spare. Rinse and repeat. No changing bulding blocks, no staing on edge, no parts falling down. Easy š
Your tree house snapping idea is too tedious. Just hold shift to put down flooring hanging over the edge. Then stand on it and delete it once you've snapped your flooring.

There's a much better and easier spiral staircase using logs, You use the log pole and then place small log beams 1 increment up and rotated, all the way up and then you go back and snap stairs to them with the staircase being snapped on the middle of each beam, it creates a smooth spiral staircase

IDk if anyones caught on to this mechanic yet, but the angled walls act as roofing, and I see a lot of gardens where people try to make a normal lookign fence but it degrades from weather. This will prevent that and makes for cool designs too!

Someone else did a spiral staircase with lots of poles… I gave up this seems tedious but easier for me to get tbh will be using this method ty!
I use a fuling totem for my nightlight. It lets off a purple glow. š
