  1. Nice to see you can dig and lower the ground in this. It's one of the many mechanics I wish ark had. I always feel a bit stupid building a base but not being able to build the most basic and obvious defense: a ditch filled with spikes.

  2. It would seem WildCard has done us all an amazing favor. We may never thank them enough! They've shown other developer's what to do wrong. So as to aggravate the largest loyal player base. Now those players will get games that will try and make them happy instead. Loyal and proud players instead!!

  3. I think for a 2nd base the moat creation process can be done slightly better:
    1st dig a moat trolldeep and then dig towards water.. now that there's already a bit of water in it, it won't let you excavate as deep anymore and will disarm you instead.
    reason why it's important to dig deeper is at the moment trolls can just walk in and stand there ankle deep in water

    also: looks like gates take rain damage without some sort of a roofing

  4. This game is great, please remember that some enemys can go around your walls and pathfind through water, like trolls so you should either expand the walls or enclose your base wholly
