A brutal exploration and survival game for 1-10 players, set in a procedurally-generated purgatory inspired by viking culture. Battle, build, and conquer your way to a saga worthy of Odin’s patronage!
If you like games from the survival genre but don’t always need the pvp that they typically come with (rust, ark, conan etc)…Valheim can have some of that, but it’s clearly a more co operative experience. Feels like a 3d viking Terraria in a way.

I can't believe this wasn't on my radar. I'm going to give it a shot. Sorry wallet.
"I like playing SS13, DF, UO" is an instant subscribe from me. All games I have enjoyed immensely.
"The game works" Top review pal…
Best thing of 2021 so far!
I think my favorite interaction was placing a fire in my cabin and suffocating my character. I had to build an actual chimney. I love it.
Hey first video of yours that Ive actually liked and not completely dooming on a EA game. This video is probably your best one yet that ive came across keep pushing forward, FOR VALHALLA !
I love reviews like this. No hype to make the game seem better than It is, just pure honesty and a great attitude towards different aspects of the game.
It. Is. Awesome. Been having a lot of fun with it, seriously one of the best game I've played in a while and a big surprise.
It's blurry because you have Depth Of Field on, if you turn that off the render distance is much higher
watches video Hey this looks pretty cool shows one of my friends; we both buy it; 3 hours later there's 5 of us playing it
Anyone play this game solo?
can you save co-op progress, are do you start from ground zero each time you host?
"We recommend playing with 3-5 players". I'm out. I have no friends.
Been playing this almost non-stop. One of the best games I've played in a long time. There are a lot of surprising interactions and events in the game that I definitely didn't expect from an early access survival game.
Just played this 3 hours straight with my husband. only reason we stopped it we have to work in the am, super excited to see where this game goes
Ah, so finally Rune 2 reincarnated and it’s actually good! I will try it!
12:30 Todd Howard likes to know your location.
This have been on itch.io for some times.played it about a year ago,and they come long. As a early access i approve what you say Kira. Me and my brother played it coop yesterday and it have alot of content for a early title. This is early access done right! 🙂 If you love exploring, crafting, survival and sandbox this one is for you.
Thank you buddy 👌
Why the fuck are we looking at your face all the time instead of the actual game-play?!
As you would expect with an early access game it has some pretty big flaws.
The world generator could use some work. The first time I played with some friends the world was quite boring. Certain resources like flint were very hard to find because the lack of rivers generated. Then I made a single player world and I had 50 flint in the first couple of minutes.
The boat really depends on the wind, more so than most games. Multiple times I just got stuck in the middle of the ocean because the wind went away. While it makes sense, it's not a fun mechanic to spend 45 minutes sitting still doing nothing.
As an American, I actually understood the marmite analogy!
This game is really bad honestly nothing clips properly the walls will go anywhere but where you want them to go , cant build anything without your workbench beside you cant use the workbench or bed without a roof , when you run it like breaks the ground kinda ? Just gives me anxiety the character isn't even centered properly with the camera the building is awfull mechanics , have fun lol
I wouldnt buy this unfinished game
I enjoy it
I'm not worried about the money investment into this game more the time I'd hate to invest time to then be let down
It just works

I watched a stream of this game yesterday. It REALLY reminded me of playing Ark Survival evolved , a mod for that game or just a reskin all without dinosaurs.
Another Conan Exiles? ✌🏻
Dude it’s Coffee Stain, clearly not a money grab or anything. They create premium shit and a sea of diarrhea.
The graphics blurines was fixed for me with disabling depth of field, looks good after that for me at least.
game rules. snag it and have some fun with mates
Same developer did deep rock galactic so I trust them enough
I first became aware of this game back in 2018. It was called 'Fejd' then. (Pronounced 'fade')
Looks like they've put a lot into it since. It was a fairly polished game back then, so not surprising it works well today.
I dont remember what I did. But you can kinda remove the blurry graphics at distances
Playing this right now with three of my friends, definitely worth the buy, there's heaps of content and the base building is great. Feels like a complete game already.
so when youre in a server with a friend and they leave does the server close as well?
Todd Howard was actually talking about this game when he said, "It just works!" Lmao.
I love this gem of a game. From the graphics, which are it's own little boat of afterlife-y and cosmic gravy, to the mechanics of interacting with shit to figure it out. Haha. It doesn't hold your hand, which I like, save for the Raven's occasional drop ins.
Just the fact that it starts you out firmly beneath a freaking Valkryie's talons as its flying through a storm at night, sold it for me. Lol
I could seriously go on and on about this game, and I've only killed the Electric Stag. He's the first boss.. lol.
Cheers.
Games kinda trash tbh. Not sure why there's hype, it's borning af.
Game is good but ran into a lot of hackers, they can fly and 1 shot stone bases, speed hack too. Unless they fix that it will kill game fast
Great review, bought it cuz of it. Thanks and subbed
