  1. Great Idea to build on the Land and let the Water come to you. I was working hours to get the Poles in the Water and this dont work how i want it… This is so simple and i dont know why i dont thought at it, but good to have you to do see the thinking for me. Good Job and thanks for sharing!

  2. When building a wall, use raise ground via hoe and make a tower of stone first, then aim at the tip top side of the tower and raise ground on it, you will notice that 1/2 extended out of that wall will have the same height or higher or lower, for 4 stone.

This is versus spending another 40 stone to raise the ground elsewhere next to it.

  3. Love this canal dock idea, but… your boat does not float away. As soon as you jump off a boat it "stops" and stays there. I have had my boat go up and down in violent storms and never move from that location. For roleplay purposes your idea is better though. What about an enclosure and roof on that? Would be pretty easy with the smaller boat, that longboat mast is pretty tall though.

  4. It probably reduces the amount of waves you have to deal with because water that is inland like that doesn't have as much of a wave effect as a dock that was made right at the shore. I have lost a few boats because a storm caused huge waves that smashed my ships up against the roof.
