Valheim – How to Build a Viking House – Fishing Hut Building Guide

This is a Valheim How to Build a Viking house Tutorial.
I built a Fishing hut that is designed to look like an overturned ships hull with the Viking shields still attached to the sides.
You can tell how Longship construction carried over to LongHouse building in the way the roofs are shaped and the timber framing used in the real buildings.
This is a small wooden build that could be built as a starter base by replacing the Wood Iron beams and poles with the 2m Wood ones.

I have another two builds finished this week, you might see them in the background.
I have a Treehouse, I planted my own trees to get them in the right place and a new Blacksmiths Workshop. The videos need editing but they will be done in a few days.

  1. Great design for a fishing hut, I love it. Is it possible without compromising the structure to put half of it over the water?
I associate fishing with builings sat on top of poles, so I'd like to combine this with some kind of branching landing stage with maybe a few little store houses on top but I'm afraid the roof won't hold.

  2. Just hanging here, watching your awesomeness creating masterpieces, I'd like to say I'm copying this build but I play console, and even I I had this on pc theres noway I could recreate these and do you justice, so instead il just keep admiring your builds 😊

  3. I love your builds. just finished the dock today in fact. Could you think about doing a good Wall build on varying degrees of terrain? I am finding it difficult to build well made walls when the terrain isn't flat.

  4. Damn it. I just started the dock build. Figuring out the land and terraforming takes so much time. Excited to finish the dock and build this next. Keep it up man. Best Valheim builder.
