I made one of these but I've never used it. Might have saved my life once from a home invasion. AND it looks like it split the wood from the AoE damage too!
Between this and the Finewood bow* I did really well in my first tomb. The bow took a bit more work to make without a bronze axe, as it involved a lot of rolling logs and falling trees into birch trees until they split – but worth the effort.
