  1. Jett was OP and needed to be nerfed. They made the best possible decision. I say bravo Riot.
    Jett was great at everything. Now she is slightly less defensive. It’s not that big of a deal.

  2. I love this change. However, it would be better in my opinion if when you use the ability but don’t end up actually dashing that it would go onto a cooldown instead of having to get 2 kills.

  3. I understand kind of what you're talking about, but that "get out of jail free card" jett has, completely breaks the planning and executing all other agents must do.

    Almost all Jetts braindeadly op in off angles with their dash at hand or even do mistakes or dumb stuff that for any other agent would be condemning but jett just has their dash, it messes the tactical gameplay and messes even the Jett mains' skill.

    What all jett mains must understand is that this nerf doesnt break her at all, just forces you to think a bit more when to use your dash.

    As a yoru main who also has a TP, as well as chamber mains, we must do a little thinking and planning (and gambling to an extent) before using our abilities to escape or move around the map.

    If we get it right we are compensated, if we dont then we get punished. For jett that doesn't work cuz you will always get rewarded with that freedom of using it whenever you want and when you fuck up dont get punished.

    You can still peek angles and still can OP on defense, (12 seconds is also more than enough). Just that you have to use your gamesense to see when to use your dash window and WHERE to use it, so you can get value out of it. Not just brainlessly peek and get out.

  4. Good Escapes Balancing.

    This is the good idea for me, literally every character need setup before they can escape. chamber need setup before tp, yoru need one aswell, even raze need quick double tap before she can escape, reyna u need a kill atleast before can escape. Everyone have special situation before the escapes. But jett? U can hold every angle freely without having a cooldown for the escapes. So i think this nerf is a really big brain move from dev. If this is too much, maybe make the window as long as yoru's tp before the portal closed.

  5. Wish they had an experimental card or something for things like these, but they've shown they're willing to pull changes back sometimes. Love that they are trying to fix diversity issues amongst duelists. Jett is too strong. Great stuff trying ideas. Lets see if it works, and stay open minded to other ideas.

  6. I really don't see how Jett and Chamber are comparible in all of this. The only similarity between Jett and Chamber rn is their relatively basic kits but in terms of mobility, jett having a windup is no different than chamber who can literally die 2 times in the time it takes for him to tp. And this is just my opinion but i don't think Chamber is op (maybe except for his low cd on the tp) for the same reason jett is or other agents lile pre nerf astra. I think Chamber's strength is his arsenal because he can basicly have the best gun for any given scenario at any time.

  7. I hate Jett as an agent. Having said that, this was a very stupid change and not surprising for this development team. They consistently nerf what doesn’t need nerfed and they buff what never needed buffed. Chamber and Reyna are absolutely overpowered in numerous ways. Do we ever see a Nerf to them? Nope. I think the Devs at Riot simply have their favorite agents and they just make changes that fit their bias and make up paper thin excuses for a reason why. Look at the only nerf to Reyna so far. It was a laughable joke that in no way changed what is broken about the agent. The thing that pisses me off the most is these developers don’t listen to the community. They simply make choice based on their personal bias and then make cheap excuses bla bla bla “in the data”. As if they think we are all rocks that don’t see very clearly what they have been doing. I mean poor sage has been nerfed almost a dozen times and all because why? She was popular! What a stupid reason to change an agent.

  8. I feel like its a great change. Should bring other duelist into the mix. Diversity is best for the game imo. I also feel like Jett mains will still play her and find its not as huge of a deal as you think right now. The fact she can gain a second dash from getting 2 kills like razes grenades is a good compromise to the instant dash loss.

  9. The game isn't Overwatch, Jett felt like she should have been in that game. Please keep in mind Valorant is supposed to be a tactically shooter and not the ability creep Overwatch clone its felt like in recent months.

  10. i am just leaving valorant and switching to csgo cause there was only 1 agent that i loved and played and now its trash i think the devs are mad or the new agent bounty hunter has a dash or powerful telepot or something

  11. man… jett's gonna be so bad now with ult specifically like you won't really be able to use the tailwind mid air to play aggressively with the ult… maybe they should change that whole ability and instead create a "wind tunnel" which creates a area with wind which boosts her and everyone else like a normal dash it won't be that powerful but can be used in multiple situations…

  12. This change is good and will not give Jett that "Get out of jail free card" and make people play her alot more carefully, as for Chamber he has limitations where as Jett didnt. I think majority of people are disagreeing with you on this one.

    The point is his tp is not overpowered like Jett dash was bcz Jett dash was a chamber tp that you don't need to setup. Also chamber's ult is an awp so….. This is a good change.

  16. As a jett main I can feel you. The main reason why nerf this is because of her ability to escape after oping easily. But this is still a major blow. I probably won't play jett anymore. People in comment section be like "this nerf demands proper use of tailwind". I just can't find a strat other than just 'dash into site' . It has very limited use now.

  17. Good . Whenever I hear a Jett or Reyna talking shit about doing all the work and getting all the kills while the rest team is sucking . Play omen and see if you get as many kills . Now you gotta be tactical with your dash .

  18. When duelist complain during of after that the team is shit or a certain player is shit because they didn’t get more kills. Meanwhile the main Jett and is built for getting kills. Enjoy your nerf . Now you gotta be tactical like the rest of us

  19. Dashing is a mechanic that shouldn't be in a tactical shooter, to begin with, so I'm glad she is getting nuked, now they just need to remove teleports from chamber, and this game might not be trash.

  20. I think is a bit of an overreaction to the impact it will have on jett. Like, it's not completely destroyed, she just can't take aggressive op angles in defense or attack as it is also not meant to be a deffensive agent. The entry is basically totally the same as the timing will be very similar.

    True that now chamber will be the main op user, but he's meant to hold a site as a sentinel. And still is not the same case as with jett dash as he has to do a whole setup and stick to it, he can't just reposition at any point any time. I agree he will have to be nerfed a bit as well, but the changes to jett seems good, she can't be OP at attacking and defending as a duelist.

  21. Chamber doesn't have a get out of jail free card all the time. You have to set up his teleporters and when you get them wrong, you have to pick them up and wait 20 secs.
    So, all the reasoning you used to say why having Jett have power up her ability is the same constraints that Chamber has.
    Also, Chamber is not that fantastic in offence. Jett, currently, is a beast in both offence and defence.
    IMO, this is a great change.
