  1. Virtua Racing showed up to save the day! That’s a great pull. I don’t actually have a copy. But the rest of that box was kinda doo doo. Are y’all actively collecting the import stuff? Or is VGM just hittin you with filler? I know they buy all those at a dollar a hit and then fill boxes with em. A Fear Factor GBA game?? What didn’t they try to do a cashgrab of on that console! Lol fun video as always you two!

  2. Very awesome box! Yeah Tom, you shouldn't rip that shirt it's too cool. I beat Banjo Kazooie a few months ago and absolutely loved it, and I picked up Banjo Tooie and I still haven't played it yet. Did you know that they were gonna name the game Banjo Kazooie Tooie, but they thought that sounded dumb, so they stuck with Banjo Tooie. As a kid I LOVED Fear Factor, me and my brother would watch it all the time, I never played any of the games though. At first when Laci pulled out the Sega game I actually didn't know what it was just by looking at the cartridge, looks cool though!

  3. Virtua Racing is an interesting game. I wish Sega had taken that approach with more games it would have been cool to see what else they could have squeezed out of the genesis.

15 months and no ups… This time we didn't get any bubble wrap or reminder cards. Soon there will be no games in the box. lol
The munchkin did pop in this time to help Prin with giving me hints though.

  4. Did you know that the full name of Banjo-Tooie in Japan is Banjo and Kazooie's Great Adventure 2? I didn't, I had to look it up.
Also, I believe the gangster weasels made their first appearance in "The Wind in the Willows" a Disney film from 1949.

  5. Nice box! I loved Mickey's Magical Quest but I haven't gotten around to playing The Great Circus Mystery yet. I also need to try Banjo Tooie after Beating Banjo Kazooie last year. Virtua Racing is definitely one I want to add to the collection.

  6. Oh cool! You got Virtua Racing for the Genesis! I use to rent the heck out of that one. It was the only way I could find it. I was very happy with my April VGM box but I have yet to see any NES/SNES games. I think I have 15 systems selected. I've been debating whether to add the Wii or not. Banjo is a fun game, period. It's one of the few adventure/platform games that you can take your time with. It's not a stressful game to play.

I was wondering when you guys would be uploading your April VGM unboxing. I look forward to it. I agree with Cpt Frugal…the chemistry you two bring to the community is addictive stuff. Good to see you guys again and looks like you got an awesome box. Except for that Fear Factor. Then again I didn't like the show either.

  8. Some pretty great games there from VGM Sir Tom and Lady Laci. That Mickie Circus Mystery is a sequel to The Magical Quest that came out in North America. And that was a sweet game. lol.

  9. Man! Virtua racing would be awesome. I want to play it but I don't think it works on AtGames Genesis consoles. I loved first Banjo Kazooie game but never played the sequel. Fear Factor was a crazy show. I was scarred for life when I saw contestants eat some Scorpion/ Spider critters in an episode once!

  10. Nice shirts. There's something about Japanese games that excite me. Not sure if it's the cover art or playing a game I have no idea what the characters are saying. I would never play an RPG in Japanese although that could get interesting.

  12. I know I've said it before but Tom you can learn Japanese by playing the RPGs you know by heart…come on Tom I wanna hear you say "May the light shine upon this brave warrior" in Japanese, lol. Nice pick ups in the VGM box, never seen a Genesis cart that looks like that.
