I think I can explain the context for what goes on in FNF.
-The Father doesn't want anyone dating his daughter, so he challenges the Boyfriend to a rap-battle.
-The Mother then challanges the Boyfriend, and they're on-top of limos because……..
-Skid and Pump show up while the Boyfriend and Girlfriend are passing out candy on Halloween. They were trying to take the Girlfriend because they were tricked by a creepy lemon monster. Speaking of which…
-The Monster was in a scrapped song from that week, before getting used for the Christmas level. After a wrap battle with the Father and Mother in a mall while the Father holds a gun to the Mall Santa's head, the mall goes dark and everyone's gone. A decapitated head and intestines adorne the large Christmas tree, as you're met with your next opponent, this terrifying Lemon Demon thing.
-Mr. Krabs seems to be a modded version of Pico, from…well, "Pico", who was hired by the Father to kill the Boyfriend. However, he and the Boyfriend are exes, so instead of just shooting him, Pico challenges him to a rap battle.
-Without giving too much away, the creepy bit where the Father breaks open to reveal Parappa is based on the Week with Senpai.
-Whitty, the scary bomb guy, is a popular fan character, starring in an insanely challenging mod. Not much is known about him, but he goes berserk partway through level.
Seeing this all listed out makes me think explaining it doesn't help. Oh well.

heya viger!!!! even though you probably won't play the game, I'm here to explain the story/gameplay behind it!!
in Friday night funkin, your character is known as "BF", you play as him and engage in rap/song battles against a different rival each week. Basically the BF is trying to date his GF, but you have to fight characters like the GF's mom and dad to be able to date her. some rivals are just there to sing with your character and aren't necessarily trying to seperate you and GF.
each week has 3 songs, with the exception of week 2. you have to beat the rival in all three songs. the health bar that was shown in this video represents, well, your health. If it drops all the way down to red you will lose and have the option to replay the song again. the game plays with only arrow keys currently, but the devs are adding in new options for the controls later on!!
tbh i was never really a rhythm gamer myself, but there's something about FnF that I really enjoy. If you ever decide to give it a chance, i just hope you have as much fun with it as i did!! have a good day now!

After the tutorial, the characters you rap against can get crazy, from the Girlfriend's ex rock star father, to some demon lemon thing…

Honestly, I'd suggest playing the game sometime, just for fun. I dislike rhythm games, but the little plot there is, the art style, the MUSIC, the game exudes charm, and it honestly feels kinda good.

A blue haired simp tries to kiss a T H I C C girl, Her parents are demons for some reasons, And they don't like simps, So they rap agains him, then the Sr Pelo kids kipnap her to give it to a lemon, But they fail, Then a kid with a gun tries to kill him, but it fails, then the mother tries to beat him in a limo, She fails, and her husband tries to stop him in christmas, then the lemon guys tries to eat her, But he fails, then another pixelated simp tries to steal the girl, but he fails and becomes giyas, And he dies or whatever, the rest of the game are hardcore mods.
And the music is amazing, Every track is an absolute bop.

Friday Night Funkin is a rythem based game.
The entire story of the game revolves around the character âBoyfriendâ who wants to date his love interest âGirlfriendâ, but her father âDaddy Dearestâ wonât let him. So he has to go through challenging weeks of rap battles against Daddy Dearest and others, to win his approval of being with Girlfriend!
The game is fun to play and the music really gets you into the rhythm. Though will be challenging as your progress.
The reason why itâs so popular, is because the game pays homage to old flash games/animations that were popular on the site of Newgrounds. There is going to be updates with other Flash characters in the future, but the Dev has made the game not only available to play on Newgrounds, but also downloadable, where people get to mod the game and insert extra weeks with their own characters, and existing characters.
I love this game, because as someone who grew up on Newgrounds and Flash, this makes me happy that this game exists!

It's just a keyboard version of those dance floor arcade, also the last bomb character is called Whitty, it is one of the hardest mods. And it's just a mod so it doesn't show up in the original. Try using A, S, up key and down key to play the game
