  1. San Andreas handled this pretty well. Somehow you can go in one direction as long as you want. There is technically no boundaries and it's crazy how it has not been replicated yet. As a kid I thought if I sailed long enough I would discover something lol. As for returning, you might as well just load the game or drown.
