  1. I began playing this game last week, since then I've put in about 50 hours. I've been wondering if you checked it out cause it's vikings. Honestly this game is incredible, and has been my favorite game atm. So glad you are checking it out!

  2. Some of that info is wrong gameplay wise. But awesome to see Arekkz is covering this. It’s always a nice surprise when one of your favorite YouTubers is covering your favorite game. I’d love to see more content Arekkz!

  3. I got this game and have been playing with my friends this past week. I am thoroughly enjoying it, except the weird pubic hair Trolls that I somehow don't see while exploring the Black Forest. I die at least once a day while mining ore or looking for carrot seeds. LOL Great video, thank you!

  4. i havent played but the thing i like is that the survival aspects don't get in the way. yes they give buffs, so are useful if you are looking for a fight, but you don't need them as much for say hunting or base building, so you can do these things and not worry as much. there a several survival games that aren't envisaged as 100% realistic survival, but still get you spending 75%+ of your time looking for food and water, you get nothing else done.

  5. My girlfriend and I started playing this last night. We built a house and then Kirsten wandered off into the woods at night time and aggro'd a really big blue troll who then proceeded to one shot me, my missus and then flattened the house.

    10/10

  6. Best game I've played in the last decade. Incredibly well done. Gameplay loop is engaging and it's a fun grind overall. Now that I'm am older gamer I find it rare that a game can hold my attention since I've seen everything in my 30 years of gaming. These devs deserve all the praise and sales on this title. No scummy tactics just pure solid gameplay.

  7. Been playing it for a few days now and it's a really solid game. One important thing that you didn't mention is that your character(s) and their equipment are persistent between maps, meaning that you can play multiplayer (either by visiting friends or on a dedicated server) with the same character as you play on your own world.

  8. Picked it up on the 6th and I've put 67 hours in so far. Lot of fun just exploring, fighting occasionally, then going home or throwing up a temp shelter to sleep until morning. Been working on my first major settlement with defenses, carved out roads between points………..now that I say that, whenever I find somewhere I want to make a stronghold, I turn into the road crew for however long it takes to make the path smooth enough for my cart. INFRASTRUCTURE, HOOOOOO!!! XD

But yes, fun game, mostly chill, great with friends.

  9. Really good game… Incredible & Fun , everything from Atmosphere and Enemy Surroundings is well developed. There isn't an overwhelming situation specialy beginning fresh with this game… The grind is also good & worth the time with all the Upgrades. ( However , i personally played it Solo ). And Solo alone is quite challenging and alil bit of time consuming… So it's better to start off as a Duo 2man squad or even 3 or 5-man squad which will be much easier to gather resources & get to the exciting PvE big Boss battles… So the difficulty playing alone solo would kinda be like Hard sort of , but when your with a squad it gets Normal & Easy sometimes when raiding battles together as a Team πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ”₯ ( The Crafting , Building , Gathering and Skill mechanic is well Excellently made… Altho the Healing system is quite new & sometimes slow compared to other Survival RPG games but that's about it ).

  10. I'm not sure how it blew up initially, but friends recommended playing it when it dropped (they're huge Ark fans) and now it's eaten up our discord. It's full of people playing Valheim.
We started two weeks or so ago and we've all got 70+ hours in the game. We're even doing the boss battles as 'community events' where no one goes ahead and each weekend is like raid night where we take down the boss and progress together.

  11. Sincere question: It still looks like another typical survival game and the features this game has are similar to other games in this genre. The video doesn't precisely say, mostly talking about what you can expect from the game. So how come this game is so hype? Is it because there's nothing exciting out atm so people use this as a substitute? I just can't wrap my head around this. It honestly just looks like a typical survival game with minor details that makes it slightly more unique.

  12. Just started playing last night and already loving it! The gameplay loop is super satisfying! I could actually waste a whole evening just chopping trees and hunting in the forest at this point. The aesthetic is kinda gorgeous as well! Such a beautiful and relaxing game, until you aggro a massive troll and then have to run like hell LOL hats off to the devs, excited to see where this goes. Great video, got me even more excited to jump back in!

  13. I thought this looked like a neat little indie rpg and then you hit me with that combo: early access, survival, procedurally generated, 1-10 players. OOF what a perfect dissapointment cocktail. No way am I getting into this, not until it actually has a full release at least
