Why EVERYBODY Plays: Chamber | Valorant

Welcome to another episode of my series Why Everybody Plays. In this miniseries I take a look at some of the least most agents in Valorant and try to explain why those agents have such high pick rates. In this episode I will be talking about the sentinel in the game, Chamber.

  1. ngl I've been maining chamber a lot more than Cypher nowadays. Because I think I am a player with high level aim and I don't even know why I picked Cypher to begin with but I still love him but chamber is just more suited for me and I love his headhunter basically a free guardian.

  2. a bit off-topic but is chamber good for someone new to the game such as myself?
I came from apex, was a defensive main (rampart) and my playstyle consisted of playing tactically, proactively, and constantly using
my abilities to make the most out of a situation.

  3. I don't think Chamber is overpowered or anything but something just really feels off about him and having him in every single match doesn't help that feeling I suppose.

Riot mentioned they'll be focusing on agent balance and I hope they take a look at him. Being "mechanically demanding" didn't stop Jett from getting nerfed several times afterall. Also, having a better Operator on his ultimate is stupidly good and it means he can play a little differently than other agents who are good with Operators.

  4. What's great about Chamber imo ever since I started trying to main him is that he pushes me to get better with my mechanical skill. His kit encourages me to be more precise and be smarter about how I play every round and how I can use his kit to try and support the team.

  5. For me its the character itself, he has really interesting place in the plot and has lots of secrets. He is not only exciting character, but also not bad agent in the gameplay, thats an understatement, he is really good. on paper all of the abilities seem one dimensional, but can be played in so many ways. Headhunter is good on eco rounds, but if you hit your shots you can destroy anyone, tour de force is literally the best gun in the game (which makes sense that he has the best weapon in the game plotwise, he is weapon dealer). but rendezvous and trademark is where is at in my opinion with chamber, it just gives me so many versatility. He can be useful in everywhere, he can be great for every map. Retake is probably the only time when he can be rather useless, but if you have a good shot, killing people will be enough. Also playing Chamber requires skill of hitting headshots, (maybe not on tour de force), this agent makes you to strengthen you aim.
