Wizardry, Part 1 – Video Games Over Time

Welcome back to Video Games Over Time. We are still in 1981. In this video, we start our journey through the World of Wizardry. Released by Sir-Tech Software for computers, this Dungeons & Dragons inspired role-playing game is the first computer role-playing game to feature a party. However, because party creation is so important, we will only make it that far this video.

  1. Nice! I've heard a lot about this game, but never played it. They should have included a table of possible classes and stat requirements in the manual, but it's still very early in the genre – not expecting things to be super user friendly
