Wizards and Warriors is an amazing early game from Rare, the developers that would later make hits like Battletoads, Donkey Kong Country, and GoldenEye: 007!
Wizards & Warriors is a platforming game with a focus on exploration – you’ll search large levels for treasure, weapons, keys, and equipment. The game is just full of hidden secrets and tricks!

Hey 🙂 you should do swords & serpents next lol but yea keep it the awesome work 🙂
This and Battletoads. One could make a case for you having a soft spot for ol Rare but at the same time they just happen to be responsible for some of the best games ever made. Do you have a preferred / favorite developer though?
Like my go to has got to be Capcom but I have a soft spot for old school konami before they were lost to the dark side that is pachinko machines.
Do Ironsword next please
Wizards & Warriors is one of those games that really deserves a comeback.
Only way To PLAY This Gem, NOW?!
Xbox!!
I've beaten this game so many times, since I was a kid in the 90's… one of the best games I own till this day =)
The main character always reminded me of some character right out of Monty Python.
This knight's legs must be jacked to jump as much as he does.
Ive always kept a distinct memory of that growing skeleton boss towards the end but have no idea how I even got to that point being only 4 when I was playing it back in the late 80s. I thought I was always at the start of the game since it felt so hard and I died so often
Rare made R. C. Pro AM!
Should i make a remastered version of Wizards and Warriors? 🤔 im currently working on a Castlvania mobile bloodlines. But thIS is a big distraction now and i feel deserves a update with parallax scrolling out the wazoo.🙂 Its getting under my skin now.🤓
Hmmm W&W 1 was pretty easy, I had more trouble with 2, but was able to beat it while 3 was impossible ^^ My favorit is still W&W2: Ironsword 🙂
I had this game as a kid… so much I never knew about with the various items. xD Don't think I ever got passed level 3 or 4, though. Might have to dig up this game now again<3
I have over 100 Nintendo games but I don’t have this one . Ima def use this video to help me . Another great one !!
I loved how W&W had infinite lives/continues because there's no way you could beat it without them. I played the hell out of this game, setting survival goals constantly, yet dying always happened lol 😂
Malkil must have been crazy powerful to capture Galadriel!
"The game was too easy" Yes, Japanese people didn't make it. lol
Top 10 Nes sountracks. Low top ten.
Aaaaall right! I finally beat it after 30 years!!!! Thanx dude!!!! ❤🙋♂️👍🍻🍻🍻🍻
This game and robo worrior so good back in the day
The hidden rooms spell Nintendo
Another great video! This Dog can beat games without thumbs. Im impressed.
I loved the hell out of this game. And bosses had to be beat with one go as you respawned at the beginning of the room. I remember the growing skeleton boss always giving me trouble, but I wasn’t very good. Could never beat the last bosses of Ironsword, a far inferior game.
What console are you inserting the game into at the beginning?
Oh I played this one this was a new game. Has one of the best box arts I've ever seen.
The steel boot of justice.
I limed the horn. Used it all the time
