This game is patched for quite sometime now and series x version has a very annoying bug after the update where it freezes randomly and makes some weird sounds and of course ubi does not fix it..check forums to see its unplayable because of this bug.
XBSX don't need a performance boost it is already running games at a hight fps than the rest

Looks like they just unlocked the frame rate on the pro one x / console modes. Not really a re-work. But still nice to have 60fps.

Its not a proper next gen patch lol
The game is actually unplayable after the update on Series X. The game crashes everytime you try to play it. Ubisoft or Microsoft should do the right thing and refund everyone that bought this game on Xbox Series consoles.

Xbox Series X performance mode 1440p 60fps
PS5 performance mode 1080p 60fps
Xbox Series X resolution mode 2160p 30fps
Xbox Series S resolution mode 1440p 30fps
PS5 resolution mode 1440p 30fps
