  2. I have to disagree with you Madz I hope the developer focus on giving the Series X native 60fps because my Series X as a killer feature called VRR Mark Cerny is still trying to figure out how to get VRR to work on the half baked PS5 😂😂😂

  3. Give me stability rather it'ss 30 or 60 FPS and resolutions. I can't go back to looking at chunky and blurry graphics or sit my ass in front of a damn 27 inch screen to play games at 11440P. 60 FPS games on XB platforms seems to be less stable for some reason, I'm guess API stalls/calls. I don't see it being a big issues unless games are regularly hanging around 40-50 FPS which causes stuttering. I'd rather have stable 30 FPS as it would have proper frame pacing and with good per object motion blur it's not that big of deal for single player none shooter games.

  4. 100 %, Stable frame rates should always be the staple when determining resolution! On the new generation 60 fps should now be the standard going forward even if that means lowering resolution down to 2K or 1080p. High resolution can have a switch for those that do not feel the effects of poor frame rates where it either locks to 30 fps or fluctuates between 50 & 60. I have not even checked out ray tracing yet on my series x as I do not want to play at 30 fps, motion sickness hits hard as a result. The motion blur in the Outriders demo did me in also I do not understand why they did not allow this to be turned off on the demo it only hurt them for those that do not like this effect.

  5. I know, I know, but it still bothers me to hear when people say that consoles couldn't do more than 30fps.

Its a trade. Consoles could always do 60fps and 120fps. Its just that gamers cared more about graphics and resolution. Do we not recall the cries from gamers asking for games to run at 30fps because it makes them more "cinematic"? Now these same gamers are claiming that anything less than 60fps is trash.

The same BS is being said about raytracing today. Gamers complaining today that raytracing isn't important, then tomorrow they will be saying anything not using raytracing is trash.

Gamers are their own, worst enemy.

  6. When I first saw the specs of these consoles I thought there would be no more compromises for performance but… I was wrong lol we are basically still in a 30fps reality at this point as 60fps means no RT this is equivalent of the compromises with the ps4 for 60fps in some games it seems the bottleneck is gpu always which is insane because gpu has always been the strongest part and here it is being the bottleneck those as AI is pushed I also expect cpu to be a major bottleneck

  7. The beauty of PC gaming, where for the most part we can choose our resolution, or in my case prioritise performance. I think all AAA games should either be at least 60fps or give console players the option of either performance or resolution mode. Because there are console gamers out there that care more about resolutions and visuals than smoother performance. This way, everyone wins. Another thing we have to keep in mind is that native 4K, ray tracing, Ultra settings, open world games and even semi-open world games can be taxing on the hardware, and while the Series X and PS5 are powerful consoles, I think some people have their expectations a little too high.

  8. I think if the 60fps is mostly stable, ticking up resolution is a good idea. Fully locked 60fps games with zero drops are very rare. But I agree, if your game is constantly dropping under 60 then drop res if that's the problem absolutely.

  9. Same thing with your Ray Tracing video man as you’re only making yourself seem ignorant because you’re taking early performance figures on cross Gen game’s, and more specifically last Gen upgraded games as if these are indicative of what the Series X is capable of when in fact the system hasn’t been pushed anywhere past maybe 60% of what it can truly do as it’s gonna take some time before games are actually built from the ground up specifically to take full advantage of the Newer hardware as once that happens, and newer more efficient software tools, and newer game engines are created that’s when we’ll see the Xbox Series X pushing dramatically higher graphics along with vastly superior performance across the board including 60fps gaming with full Ray Tracing effects, etc !

True Next Gen Game’s are gonna be insanely better than anything we’ve seen so far as Everyone who knows anything about Consoles knows that they never show their true potential at or near launch as Consoles have vastly superior graphics, and vastly superior performance around 18 to 24 months after launch, and continue to get better, and better !

  10. you're right, I'll be honest, and I can barely see detail difference between 720p and 4k on my 42" TV. also played on 55" and still no difference. not everyone has +65" TV where you might start notice some difference. but fps is whole other story. 120fps is maybe overkill, only needed probably in onlinegaming. but 60fps is the way to go

  12. Maybe you should talk about what games does Xbox platform going all the way back to Xbox one have? What’s the point of graphics when they have no good games? Check metacritic all the first party games since Xbox one with average score of 70. Who cares about resolution with crappy games?

  13. Ever since I bought a 4K tv, 1080p looks so much more blurrier to me now. Even when watching YT videos on my 12 Pro Max the difference is jarring especially with the Oled screen.(I upgraded from 6s). I need that 4K 60 can’t go back to 1080, but I would settle for 1440p 60 as well
