  1. My bad guys! I totally messed up on the "auto reload". It should of been weapon auto- cycle on empty- 'off'. However my point still carries true, you don't want to try to reload if the game thinks you're interacting with something else. So having auto cycle on OFF will make it so your gun will auto reload on its own if you shoot all bullets and still play teammates knockdown shield. This way your weapon won't swap and you never have to press X or Square to reload.

  2. Only 3 minutes into the video and I'm not sure what to think. Started apex roughly 2 month ago now and pretty much right away switched to acs. Sniped on cod with a high sense for years and couldn't find a sense that felt good without acs. Anything between 1-5 just felt odd. Also I feel like my bread and butter is mid range fight🤔 I can do decent in close quarters but I do a lot better if there is atleast a little distance. But with too much distance and the recoils start to get a little too much since I haven't fully learned the recoil patterns yet.
Edit: If I remember right I am on roughly 280/200 acs. And 0 everything else. Very small response curve and 6 deadzone to avoid stick drift

  3. ALC does feel more smooth so I do agree but I used normal mode till season 8? I think? Or 9 then I switched and I just practiced cause I knew I would get better even If I sucked at ALC

  5. I usually find your videos interesting but you it seem like controller players rely n must take advantage of aim assist to be better in the game Which is not true. If you want to be better, practice that’s all it is, if you play the game with attentions to get better u will get better but if u excuse urself relying on a certain setting or saying I need to take advantage of close range fights cus aim assist will get me the win your not gunna get better trust yourself n push yourself n you will be better

  6. Nah go ALC’s and learn it👍🏼 and actually, ALL of the pro controller players use ALC’s, they just haven’t confirmed it because they haven’t found THEIR OWN that they’ll never change. Snipedown, verhaulst, all of’em. ALC’s is what makes you equal to MNK. Promise you, go learn ALC’s and fine tune your aim of you are looking to actually put the time in to get better.

  7. I’m on controller but long range is where I’m most comfortable, I feel like when I’m close range I struggle with hitting my shots. Mainly shotguns

  8. Although recoil patterns are important, this game actually has a hidden mechanic called recoil smoothing. Essentially if you move your stick at a constant speed horizontally over a certain threshold it completely mitigates vertical recoil. Don't believe me? Go into the firing range with any automatic weapon and spray it into a wall while holding your stick to the left or the right as if you're tracking an enemy. You will notice that the horizontal recoil will still be there, but without ever even pulling down on the stick, the recoil pattern won't ever kick up. This mechanic of recoil smoothing works especially well when you and your enemy are in a strafe battle fighting. Some of you may not even realize you're doing this but in those heavy movement situations where you need to track your enemy, you can just simply track them and forget about vertical recoil control. Apex added this into the game purposely due to the fact that they figured it would be too difficult to control vertical recoil on an enemy that is moving left to right.

  9. I personally think ALCs is being overhyped without any proper basic knowledge given about it. That's why most players are baited into it due to a false bandwagon.

It's still a great setting that should not be overlooked, but only for those who understand fine tuning on controllers and really want to progress farther with aim; ALCs isn't JUST for fast aiming or flashy movement. it can be fine tuned to feel exactly just like a 4-4 or 5-5 regular settings, which can result into a smoother control overall while blending together really well with aim assist.

  10. ALC actually did wonders for my aim specifically because you can fine tune the game to work exactly the way you need it to. I used to play on 5/4 or 5/3 and really struggled, but after adjusting my ALC settings over the last month I've found what works perfectly for me.

  12. Mango I finally turned off ALC after trying use it since 1 month into Season 0 because my aim was junk. I went to a 4 – 6 and that has worked way better. Thank you for the advice.
