  2. @Minute Updates, something that should be said to Respawn's benefit is that, unless they grow their team significantly with each release, they only have so much output to both develop new features and maintain everything. This is the most likely reason from a practical perspective why the new stuff seems less and less exciting. It's not that they don't have new, out-there ideas. They simply may not have the time and manpower to make them a reality.

    As consumers we keep asking for new features, new settings, new everything, new, new, new. We should! We spend our hard-earned money on this, so why not? But, as a software engineer, I can tell you the flip side of that is that Respawn must then manage a minimum overhead of work for each and every new change's development and testing, then launch it, and then maintain that in addition to the core codebase. Rinse and repeat. Also, everything new then becomes part of the core. So assuming they're not growing the team every single update by significant numbers, their idea people likely don't get as much time to think up more creative stuff as they're busy maintaining everything that's already out.

    Sure, they may have made bank in recent months, but a lot of that has to go to paying contractors, vendors, EA, overhead, and a war chest they can use in the future to develop other titles. I highly doubt that, while they want Apex Legends to be a decade-old game, that they want to only subsist off one game alone.

  4. I hate that no one else agrees with me. Or says anything about it.

    SOLOS SHOULD BE A STAPLE IN ALL BRS NO MATTER WHAT. I do not care if “it’s a team based game” NO ONE LIKES THEIR TEAMMATES ANYWAY AND LEAVE AS SOON AS THEY DIE.

    If you can drop a 20 bomb as lifeline or Watson or any team designated legend in solos first off, IMPRESSIVE. 2nd VIEWS. 3rd PROFIT. If they want profit SO bad, CATER TO ALL OF THE FANBASE. I KNOW the player population on ALL devices would at least spike 10-30% for years. I’m sure a lot of warzone players would switch over too. If they want to beat warzone, they HAVE TO DO SOMETHING NOW before there’s 50 legends, 10 maps, and everyone’s bored.

    I genuinely can’t fathom how they have not made solos a staple already. Maybe it’s their last trick up their sleeve before the game dies. Just like how cod remastered classics when their numbers drop.

    If apex didn’t have the movement, the legends with unique abilities and this odd utopian future vibe to it, they would be dead at launch. But people have held on so long with just br that it is ENTIRELY up to content creators to keep it interesting. From high kills with different legends, weapon combinations, movement. The games longevity is deteriorating because new legends and cosmetics aren’t enough.

    If they want new players, if they want longevity, if they don’t want 50% of people to rage quit every game, if they want money?

    SOLOS. That is literally the only way for them to STAY on top.This game is still popping off compared to others, but they’re guaranteed a #1 spot for AT LEAST a year straight if solos gets added.

  18. Why would we need a new ammo just give us content new game modes it’s fucking stupid that we’ve had this game for 2 years and br is still the only thing we can play. We need good maps desperately worlds edge is almost as old as kings canyons. And why completely remove maps just give them a smaller amount of time during the map rotation give us OG skulltown for like a half an hour same with Olympus or worlds edge before the nuke. It’s just simple things that apex could be doing to make it not feel so stale . If a titan drops in apex I’m done with the game would be the equivalent of fortnight thanos

  19. Explosive rounds would be the worst thing for apex. Get rid if p2020 and bring floor loot alternator back. Then get rid of all the different sniper mags, stocks, and sights. Half the games now you can’t find a common backpack but walk over 9 sniper mags and 5 deadeye attachments when 1% of players use them it’s ridiculous. I also think they should allow you to destroy your teams pathfinder ziplines. And quit nerfing characters, everything is pretty level right now, but I’m sure soon gibby will have 400 health instead of his 300+ he has now.
