Valkyrie takes to the skies in the Apex Legends Legacy update. Valkyrie has a number of powerful recon and mobility abilities, including her VTOL Jets, which essentially give her a jetpack as her passive. The rest of Valk’s abilities are also very impressive for a legend being released in Apex Legends Season 9. Expect a lot of damage with the missile swarm ability, and don’t forget the skyward dive, which will allow Valk to reposition with her team quickly, whether it’s on the new Olympus map update or in the brand new 3v3 arenas mode.

  2. I’ve been hogging her a lot lately in arenas. One tip I can give against controller/console players specifically is flying directly above somebody or over their shoulders.

    They can’t look straight up to hit you, and if they do try you can call this out to your teammates. I know it seems more akin to it being situational, but if you have life advantage and you’re playing for another pick against a team with better positioning than yours, pulling their aim to the loud target that is impossible to hit is a good way to make them think twice about who they wanna shoot.

    With flying over their shoulders it helps a lot in 1v1’s in close quarters. they’ll lose track of you and have to reacquire their target (this does introduce a lot more risk if they play with high sensitivity. Just keep it in mind. some players that stay in the backlines do have low sens to help handle snipers.) Likewise this trick can also work to further increase your chances of winning a 2v1. It’s literally just pinching for dummies.

    Lastly, on the map with the teleporters in spawn you can get through faster than most legends by abusing the jet pack speed boost. use this to pre-aim a missile salvo at the other teleporter. This can give a solid advantage if your teammates are coming to help secure the kills.

I love playing as Valkyrie, when ever my squad get caught between 2 or 3 other squads we can leave and go to a safe spot to regroup with her alt, and there have been a few times where I've snuck up on an enemy team holding the high ground with her jet pack and done a pincer where I push from behind them and my team attack head on. I think she's well balanced and a lot of fun.

  13. I feel cryptos EMP blast should at least invert valk's(the players) controllers for maybe 2 sec or 3 seconds. I mean did rampart put EMP blast resistant paint🔧💥💣🎨 6:00 looks like the EMP blast didn't even phase her 😂

  17. Valk is my new fav legend. But she is wayyyyy too OP imo. It’s like horizon and fuse had a baby and put it on whatever the Cuban government gave to Yoel Romero in the lab he was created in

  22. i play crypto and its very unbalanced that #valk although in or under the crypto drone#EMP shell , all valk has too do is hover… hover and she doesnt get take damage . NOT COOL ! if crypto takes damage and his team takes damage and every other tram takes damage #valk although in mid air or on the ground while under the drone #EMP shell should definitely take damage . fix it , its in the mechanic's of an #EMP she needs too take damage if not more because she has machines . i do NOT like #valk at all

  37. the thing i dont like about valkyrie is that i always accidentally use her vtol jet when i am bhopping. this makes movement very difficult and makes me not want to play her honestly. she should have a seperate keybind to fly imo.

  38. as someone starting to main valk in arena i usually pick sniper launch up get a view and get distance and if my team needs me i Strafe over and bomb them and finish them with the volt whilst keeping my distance

  39. Got this dream where Jack Cooper was in the game where his passive is double jump n wall ride stuff and his ulti is a freaking smart pistol. And has BT as a assistant in his helmet.

  41. Everything is very helpful but i think that valkyrie is a goat in arenas, everytime i play her there, i win with the best stats.
    But it takes some time to learn how to use the jetpack in arenas

  42. It's super easy to fix her. Devs need to change the activation of jetpack in the air, instead should activate on a long pres on spacebar. (You should have an option to choose how much milliseconds before activation)
