  1. DLSS is incredible. Ultra w/o raytracing: 55-65fps. Ultra w/o raytracing + DLSS: 90-110fps (RTX 2080s). The difference is less substantial with ray tracing on but still very impressive software

  2. Funny thing is this game looks nothing like this when you turn down all the settings to get a decent frame rate. DLSS makes the game look blurry. Using an nvidia sharpening filter is mandatory in this game, there are no anti-aliasing options to mess with. Without a sharpening filter this game looks like you need glasses, like it is really fucking blurry. Puddles shimmer even on high settings with RT off. There is a weird grainy look to textures even with film grain is turned off. Definitely finished off 2020 with one last fuck you. Either my game is broken or this game looks like shit in 3440x1440p with a 2080Ti FTW3, 9900k, 32gb of ram. Looks nothing like this trailer, not even remotely close.

  3. It doesnt get more ambitious than open world rtx. Sad it is only for Nvidia GPUs, but you have to optimize somewhere^^ Also, recommended for high 1440p is a 5700xt, i get avg 45 fps with it, even with a light oc i cannot reach 50. Hope they will keep optimizing!

  4. Even with 3080 at 1440p with ultra settings, rtx and dlss on quality, FPS is around 60fps and can drop below 50. Don’t think 4K is viable at all with rtx. You must be running around 30fps unless you turn some settings down. I’m enjoying it more with rtx off. Not much difference and it runs much better.
