  1. You use a hairdryer to quickly set the paint, but could you do the same thing with the airbrush just from a distance so it doesn't spider the paint? Great video as usual too πŸ‘

  2. Outstanding tutorial…..as usual. The first space marines i ever attempted to paint were death guards. I really enjoyed painting them in all their nastiness. However after watching the way you've just painted this death guard using an airbrush and various base coats and contrast paint coat etc…, im really tempted to go out and buy an airbrush. I just don't want to spend a "fortune" on something that I have no idea how to use lol. Thanks again for your channel, stay healthy and God bless.

  3. Another great video, can't wait for the 30k scheme. One of my favorites for the current models. Makes them more scary thinking they've been kicking around for 10k years (or maybe it's just me.)

  4. That's not a tabbard, it's his handkerchief!
Winsor & Newton Burnt Umber is just the best. I learned washing skills with that (and Burnt Sienna to a lesser extent) 30 years ago. Glad it still has a place on the painter's table ☺
Loved the video, I have some Death Guard from nearly as long ago I never had the courage to paint. This video is a real education, thank you.

  5. You said you use black base under metallic paints, do you use that for bright gold too? I've tried painting over light brown using one of brightest Vallejo Game Color gold paints, and I feel I could as well be painting with my pee – that thing doesn't cover at all…
