  1. I would hate it if Assassin's Creed becomes a more linear game like Uncharted. The exploration in AC is such a huge part of the game!
I say put out a great RPG open world game where you actually play as an assassin!

  2. I really, really, reeeaaaally want to see an Assassins Creed set in 1500s Conquistador occupied South America, with all those ancient cities with the pyramids combined with Spanish ships that could be a promising setting in my opinion

  3. Man if it is a AC remake it should include almost all of Altair's journey albiet rewrite some of the blunders (abbas lasted way too long) heck they could add a few RPG mechanics such as a skill tree (learn assassination techniques etc)

  4. I would quite like a game set during the Spanish conquest of South America. Maybe Mexico or Venezuela. We saw a few Myan ruins in AC4 and would be perfect for more fun on the high seas.

  5. The only reason to not carry on making Cross gen titles is if someone doesn't want the extra work, there is plenty of games if you'd be nuts to NOT make Cross Gen – if it's something simpler it might even work fine on an even older machine too.

What kinda loon would want to sell something simple like a Poyu Poyu game as a Current (2021) Hardware exclusive when they can sell so many copies to Previous Gen players too.

Also it may seem a bit nuts but there is some advantages of working down to the older machines – it encourages efficiency of coding and also it means when a game is enhanced it's more likely to be running at better specs. Like if it's 30 FPS on Xbox One X it would be 60fps on the Series X If it's 1440p on the Xbox One X then it would be native 4K on the Series X

I get the impression that making something for PC, Series Consoles and PS5 would make developers a bit lazy.

Also trying to squeeze something onto the Series S – one might as well put that extra effort in an squeeze it on to the XBox One X & Playstation 4 Pro too. It's not like the performance difference of the Series S & the XBox One X is that different – the main difference is The Series S has better memory through put.

So I don't have an issue with Cross Gen games – after all there is also the rather neat idea of you buy a game now on the XBox One X & you can get the same game only better in a year or twos time when you upgrade – that is a good reason to upgrade – but the availability of the consoles is still haphazzard – even the plain ol Nintendo Switch kept going out of stock as there was more demand for the docking version than the lite they were trying to push.

if the Console stock is stopping enough units getting to consumers then yes making cross gen titles well into 2023 seems like a good idea to me and like I said if the game is something simple it should still be cross Gen anyway.

  6. Before devs create games solely for one generation surely role out of next gen consoles needs to be stepped up. otherwise it will end up like europe demand vaccination passports but unable to get vaccines in arms.

  7. I wish Ubisoft would take 3 years in between new AC games. That way they can have post launch content and focus on the game that comes out and they have more time to make a better game!! Having more time to make a game will only mean they can make even better AC games!!

  8. I hope they give up on letting you choose which gender the character is, I don't care either way I just want one really well written character. Not two ok ones.

  9. I keep hearing they're gonna do a WW2 / Germany theme…. I could go for that. Like being part of the whole D Day landing then playing through the liberation of France and such would be cool maybe.
