SpongeBob Bootleg Explained



There is a very well known SpongeBob phenomenon, known as the SpongeBob Bootleg. Supposedly, there exists a bootleg tape of the SpongeBob episode titled Dumped, where a split second frame can be seen of SpongeBob with no mouth and bloodshot eyes. The frame in question, apparently blinks at you after staring at it for a bit. This whole phenomenon has circulated all around the Internet for the past decade and today, we’re gonna answer the age old question: is it real or just a hoax? Let’s find out.

  4. probably the reason why he blinks after 30 to 40 seconds is probably because you are just hallucinating. because staring at pictures or moving images for a long period of time can mind bogle your brain, into thinking you are looking at something else. (similar to pareidolia)
