The Best Way To Make Money In Tarkov… A Rant

Survival is the most important part of Escape From Tarkov and after playing a few months of late wipe, or if you are new to tarkov and come from other games, that can be easily forgotten. In this video, I talk about how prioritizing survival over everything else dramatically increases how much money you can make in the game. Check it out!

  1. This is soo true.. Pick your fights and pick your shots. Play slower survive more and hear more too. Not too slow don't be afraid to move around but be smart. Thanks jesse had to remind myself about the key ia to survive.

  2. I have a friend that tries to play like landmark and gets killed a lot and or gets us killed and can't understand why he is broke. I told him several times this is a survival game.

  3. Pro-tip if you’re running early customs for quests: find a bush off spawn go prone, roll over on your side, go fuck off for 10 minutes and if you’re alive when you come back congrats.

  4. Damn, @JesseKazam, you SMASHED the nail on the head here. I've never agreed with a Tarkov video so much before.

I run with a couple of great people (my brother and his best friend), but I swear they play this game just plain wrong sometimes. They've got no tactical awareness or logical processing at all, they just want to rush into every fight without thinking about the consequences or odds and won't stick to a plan or deviate from their course once they've set it. The number of times they've got us smoked because they've tunnelled on a rapidly deteriorating situation is crazy; I've lost amazing loot, quest items, and the will to live more times than I can count. It always goes the same way; the situation turns south, I suggest bugging out or switching to Plan B, they call me a rat with a boring playstyle, then make a dumbass play and get us killed but say it doesn't matter because it was fun (even though they're raging), meanwhile some other players are busy looting our shit, we've just lost a fortune in loot and I'm in a pissy mood fighting the urge to say 'TOLD YOU SO!'.

Tarkov 101 is surviving or 'ESCAPING', and people just don't put enough emphasis on it. Every bit of equipment you make it out with has SAVED you the cost of replacing it. If you make it out alive with only 10 rubles, you haven't just made 10 rubles, you've made 10 rubles + the value of your entire loadout. It's another free raid. If you're running a 250k loadout and survive 4 raids without profit, you've still made a million by avoiding the cost of rearming.

As much as I love those guys, I wish I could find some UK players with a similar playstyle. We wouldn't be wiping servers or making Uber Chad plays very often, but we'd be surviving a LOT of raids and making a LOT of rubles while getting a LOT of shit done.

  5. Thankyou for adding to the slow trickle of voices reminding players what the soul of Tarkov is. Survival. Its not CoD, its not PUBG, its not Fortnite. Im a solo player after spending the first 8 months as a duo. My gameplay changed and is so much more enjoyable as a survival first.

  6. 2:19 I've gotten a LOT more lax on dying in other games after playing Tarkov for about a year now. The only real consequence to dying in other games was just lost time, while in Tarkov you're potentially losing thousands of roubles every day ON TOP of lost time. I've heard horror stories of new players dropping the game cuz they kept dying and had nothing left.

  8. These are some sick tips! My side hustle has been offer up for the last three years and I flip almost every of my inventory in my hometown. I still gross 4 figures every month by going to garage sales around me and flipping things without even shipping. I enjoy your side hustle grind and was thinking it would be smart to get on a podcast that I’ve been working on. Direct Message me on IG @flipmandan
