  36. Dear honored oculus I am a chronicler for a chapter of the adeptus astartes located near the ghoul stars, I send this message in hopes that we will both survive to hear our responses. I have been tasked with handling the astartes cogitator banks and refurbishing any old records while rationalizing the records, with such a similar calling u may ask why I call upon you today and simply put a captain of the chapter I serve under has asked me to go over the records of holy Tera and the emperor himself as the data stacks containing these where heavily damaged and simply put there seems to be little data damage once the mechanical problems are remidied and brought to me but 3 things are spoken of in unclear terms and I dare not ask any of the angels of death for help as they are keeping peace in this sector,simply put the records on malcador, the golden throne, and the astronomicon are all contradictory or scant records can be found, our emperors holy light guides our ship but was our holy god emperor not on Tera during the age of strife? And why do records speak of tera’s light during the great crusade? The golden throne is almost unknown to the librarium I am tasked with even having sealed records opened at behest of my patron has not shed any light on how the throne is connected to the astronomicon and the records speak of the black ships during the crusade do the psykers not feed our emperor and his light? I fear that once I am done with these records I shall put put to the Bolter but I do my task for those who have rescued my soul from those who fell to the noctis aeterna. Malcador is the final record I would encourage as malcador is mentioned many places but almost no records exsist on such a figure appearing only scattered through other tales. My patron has included the chapters ident codes and I understand your patron is much more pressing as we live so far from the emperors light that only stories that somehow find their way to our world allow us to see it ave imperitor gloria in excelsus tera
