What features are actually being added to the Wild Update? Are they really features that add to the gameplay? How does this update compare to others?

Minecraft, but the Wild Update is terrible. The bad features and implimentation are released. But are they really that bad? If you liked this video, check out other videos like I tried every frog in minecraft, or Sorry Mojang, but we’re keeping these features in the game. Subscribe for more like this!

  1. How do you feel about the wild update?
Do you think there’s enough to warrant a full update?
Why do you think so many people are frustrated?
Are you gonna subscribe before I steal your lunch money?

  2. My big gripe with it is that they kept the name "the wild update" when it only touches to parts of the world when they said they want to add atmosphere to the whole world

  3. 1.19 is just 1.18 part 3 because mose of the stuff was just features from 1.18 mostly the update is great an all but most updates now days for Minecraft is just promises Mojang did not keep in the first update

  4. I still feel like they could’ve added fireflies as mob purely for ambience without any other use, similar to bats But besides that, the only other problem I have with 1.19 is that we never got the biome changes mentioned in Minecraft Live. They made it sound like they were going to make changes to pre-existing biomes that would add atmosphere and immersion and make each biome feel unique, and they showed the birch forest concept art as an example of what these changes could look like. However, we have not heard anything about these changes ever since, with no explanation as to why. Fireflies were only one small addition, but they made it sound like these biome changes were one of the main goals of the update that they wanted to focus on. I do understand their explanation of “concept art is not a commitment”, but that seemed to only apply to the birch forest, which seemed ti just be one of the biomes that would be changed. To be honest, I somewhat believe that it’s somewhat the community’s fault that we didn’t get an explanation. It seemed that 80% of the people watching Minecraft Live was completely deaf to what Lady Agnes was saying, and when they showed the concept art they assumed that the birch forest was the only biome that would be updated, even though it was just an example. Thus, a majority of people were just worrying about the fireflies and birch forest, seemingly oblivious to how they said other biomes besides the birch forest were going to be updated. Thus, Mojang responded to the majority who were asking about what happened to the birch forest specifically, but didn’t explained what happened to the other biomes since very little people were asking about it.

  5. I think its much more than enough for an update I mean I think people have just gotten used to big updates nobody used to complain when an update was just a new mob and some items

  6. 2:49 needs a undo button in case you place them wrong 😅
I'm bummed about the fireflies still being removed, but in the same token the feature I wanted from them wasn't going to be a thing either way so I don't feel a big loss. Am upset about no mushrooms on sides of trees though…but if we weren't able to shear them and place them on sides of houses, then again not a big loss if not a feature that would have come with them.

  7. I'll try not to ramble on for too long here, but the reason no one was upset about 1.15 being so small is because Mojang has stated to us time and time again that winter updates are meant to be smaller updates than summer ones, and the Buzzy Bees update "Formerly known as Bees and Bugs" had the main, major focus of fixing a ton of game-breaking bugs, while giving players a couple of features to play with too. Players weren't upset with the update because we got EXACTLY what Mojang said the update would be.

    Then there's 1.19. . .

It would have been fine, great even if they had shown off Birch Forests (and ESPECIALLY fireflies!!) as simple concept features that they aren't sure on yet, that would have been fine because people wouldn't have been expecting those features. Instead, they advertised those features right alongside AAAALLL the rest of the features for the update, making them out to be confirmed portions of the update. Obviously, plans change in development, and not every promise can be kept, but I think the part that upsets a lot of people is moreso the lack of original communication on the actual contents of the update. 1.15 promised Bees and Bug Fixes, and we got bees and bug fixes, so no one was disappointed. When fireflies, one of the items that was absolutely going to MAKE the atmosphere for 1.19, were suddenly and sadly removed because "Some species of fireflies are poisonous to frogs", it's clear that there were an infinite amount of workarounds for this to have kept them in, but I digress. . .

Regardless of what did and didn't get added, I totally agree with you in that this is an awesome update full of cool new features! I'm personally OBSESSED with the lore of Minecraft, so this update tingles in all the right places in my theorist brain, which is really exciting! Not to mention how. many. freaking. Allays I'm going to make into auto sorters, ESPECIALLY for things like my Raid Farm. We may not have gotten absolutely EVERYTHING, but I'd say we got enough to keep us busy for a minute. I cannot WAIT to see what they announce at this year's Minecraft Live, and I'm equally as excited to play 1.19 when it comes out!!

  8. i feel like 1.19 doesnt have enough, just adding one of the other updated biomes such as the savanna/badlands/desert from the neglected biome votes, would have made this update better

  9. With 1.15 Mojang told us that it was, just bees and bug fixes. But with 1.19 Mojang cut features people were excited for, and was unable to fulfill people's expectations.

  10. 1.19 is is very good! Just the name of the update that doesn't click.
The only wild this is the Warden I think but we want more stuff that is considered "Wild"!

  11. The big issue is they keep biting off more than they can chew, splitting updates or talking about plans that aren't set in stone. The "Wild" isn't as wild as they promised, when they frankly hyped it up way too much from the onset. It's a good update when compared to older ones, but it feels lacking in the sense that they didn't really deliver on the "hype" that they themselves built up for it. Which they really should address before the next minecraft live, as hype can be your greatest ally or biggest foe.

They more or less turned the aniticpation for the update against themselves which has affected player perception and acceptance of the features included in it. Hence why some call it the "Mild" update, because compared to the hype they intentionally built up; which was on par to the blasted NETHER UPDATE in terms of PR, they didn't deliver as well.

  12. I think the reason it doesn't fill like a big update is because the last other updates had a lot in them so now that 1.19 is out because it doesn't have as much as the other updates it feels really small

  13. The real reason, why I think the community hates this update is because they promised things they didn't do, the 1.15 was announced as a small update, and was a small update, but 1.19 looked like a big update… It's not the update itself, is what Mojang never did

  14. The general problem of 1.19 is miscommunication
and disappointment that they removed a mob for being useless, since everyone wants it to be atleast an ambiance mob, it's better off as a particle effect
Maybe the reason they need to give it a use is not make another bat (a mob the community found useless)

  15. I think 1.19 feels off cause it’s a bit “random”. Lots of different stuff added that isn’t really connected together. And then relatively little on the “wild” side although that’s the name of the update. Feels like a bunch of things they wanted to do, but no overarching theme (like villagers, bees, nether, caves)
