There’s no denying that the Cyberpunk 2077 that CD Projekt RED actually released isn’t the game that it spent so long hyping up, one that was promised to have a “much, much deeper role-playing experience” than The Witcher 3 while also serving as a “benchmark” for the industry.
Maybe someday we’ll get the full story on what happened or even a massive overhaul to the game that adds all of the most-requested features and then some. Maybe someday it will actually “look amazing” on previous-gen consoles. Time will ultimately tell but for now, the developer’s woes are only just beginning.

The witcher 3 > cyberpunk 2077
I think we can all agree that CDPR spent most of their money on marketing instead of development. That's quite bad for "the most consumer friendly company" in the gaming industry, heh. They finally showed their true face I guess. Overhyped scammers.
If you dont like the just dont play it! Simple is it.. i play on de ps5 and i love the game
Turns out, it released at least a year too soon.
ya'll so quick to milk the failure, what ya expect during a pandemic where the devs have to work from home.
AC valhalla is my GoTY i really wanted to love this game but its just meh
4:53 I wonder if avengers tried that cosmetic gear system, it would have been garbage. Like why would a new shield make cap stronger
Hmmm that’s weird, cyberpunk looks great on my old pc on ultra and max out but my new pc and my consoles also dosent look great. This no make sense!!!
Pls tell me your joking
Too many complaining about performance when that isn't even the biggest issue. The biggest issue is lack of build potential for an rpg based games.
I've put 40 hours into my first play through and I haven't even beat the story. The game lacks majorly in variety and cyberware. When it all boils down to it.. there's barely any variety.
Look at quick hacks.. yikes there's maybe 16 or so, that I've found. Most being un-used. Ping is useful. Contagion is okay. Short circuit is meh and so is overheat or whatever its called. The rest.. not really impressed.
Way too much was taken out of the game before it even dropped.
The crafting was what had me really excited and sadly, there's no reward for it once you progress further enough.
Looking at all the perks under each attribute tree is even more depressing.
I hate to be that guy saying the game is boring because I don't want it to be that kinda game.. but unless they start fixing their game and adding forgotten promises.. the 2020 community gonna riot. 🤣🤣🤣
I'm truly disappointed but at the same time, I enjoy the game but when I see build videos… I don't see any builds. I see a weapon of choice and a couple perks. Your mods on cyberware are extremely limited, if they even exist.
Saved up after paying vik and ghost town off and decided to buy the projectile arm launcher.. boy was that a terrible, terrible idea. Its absolutely shit. On top of that, its buggy. Half the time it doesn't explode. It has a massive arc. A arm rocket should have its own thrust. Its a fucking rocket. But nope. On top of all that, I have yet to 1 shot anyone with it.
No perks are specific to sniping. None. Only cool and that caters to stealth critical damage. That also, was a huge let down. I don't snipe in ANY game and I'm an avid fps player. But in Cyberpunk, I enjoyed sniping. Lol. Snipers 1 shot everything on hard, even without any perks into cool for crit damage. Gets kinda boring after awhile.
Mantis blades look like a complete joke. Clunky af. Won't even go there. Too many fan boys.
And the monowire.. oh many does that look garbage. It's a thin wire with enough force and velocity to sever limbs, yet it rarely does so. And you're punished for excessive use. Smh. If they don't die after the first swing.. 90% of peeps are gonna swing it again. Lol idk. The fire one should slice right through robotics.
Won't bash gorilla arms cause they're kinda funny.
Even after my short little rant, I can comfortably say though that Cyberpunk is an AMAZING game and I will keep playing it But it needs A LOT of work.
Can we take a minute to discuss Item management? It is cumbersome and non-intuitive.
first, every item ends up as a thumbnail which does me no good. I have to hover over every single one individually to remember what it is. and so many guns or bottles or grenades look so much alike, it takes time hovering the cursor to remind myself.
second, this cursor is slippery and not easy to move around in the items menu.
third, The way they leave the loot in the creates so much grinding. instead of a gun, one or two health boosters, and a stash of cash…nope… these items are split into small units and spread around into 15 or 20 small stashes in a large room. so 15 to 20 little trips around the room scrounging up these items.
now I look back at fall out and realize the art behind loot placement, and item management, that I simply took for granted.
How does the police system change from quote 'MUCH more complex than GTA" to literally the worst police system I've ever seen in a video game 🤣🤣🤣. If they had a half decent police system my enjoyment with this game would increase massively, right now I'm hating the game because of how lazy CDPR are, beyond shameful, also pisses me off how pretty much no cyberpunk youtubers said anything about it before launch and are still ignoring it, what a joke!!!!!
On my first and current playthrough I chose corpo, and I’ve noticed there is quite a lot of different dialogue options that actually seems relevant to V’s backstory
Tbh cyberpunk is cool but it seems like a mobile game
I've seen plenty of Nomad dialog choices so that is in there.
Salty
The game got crushed under the hype that's what happened
The gaming community: man release the game. It’s been so long. We want to play. We are hyped. No more delays
Also gaming community: why is so buggy? It doesn’t work. You guys suck. When the patch will come out? Should’ve waited more. Need polishing.
Series x got the hotfix update at 12.20am .. stil many graphical issues.. cars, npc and police popping in an out. Weather not working & day & night circle not working proply
They spent alot of money on advertising a false experience. Most of the cool stuff we got to see before release was in the first hour of play time. The graphics looked so awesome in the preview but when we got the game it was far from acceptable it's Nintendo 64 graphics with hardly any NPC's its an empty game, not what we were promised so a big FUCK YOU CDPR!
Fast travel crashes the game.. gang members are overpowered. The crafting mechanics are broken and awful menu navigations.
Im finding it hard to look past all these faults and loads of other issues. Love the cyberpunk open world.. great game great story!
I LOVE THE GAME! THIS IS MY GOTY! and im playing on a GTX 970 and 4th gen i5 nyahahh! My settings is on HIGH with few medium (shadows) stable 30 FPS. HAVING A BLAST! The game is so immersive! DON'T LISTEN to the opinion of others! If ur a real gamer, treat urself and play this game (not on base ps4 because the hardware can' t handle the game). If you have a PC that can run this game and know how to optimize GO GET IT!! 9/10!! I even using ULTRA RESHADE — LOOKS FANTASTIC!!
I unfortunately already beat the storyline in under 50 hours of playing the game and I wasn’t even trying to play just the storyline missions 😢 pretty dumb
Cyberbug 2077
I was really looking forward to having a cool cutscene when I got a new implant.
Not sure what y'all are talking about on Xbox and Playstation but i've played throught the entire story on PC and i'm sad to say: the game didn't live up to it'a hype like at all.
Story mediocre, gameplag flat and mostly boring. Visuals okay but i guess i've seen just as good visuals (playing on RTX card). Overall the game is just relatively bad and completely overhyped.
This is what happens when marketing and advertisement takes the upperhand, aswell as promoting it with Keanu Reeves. Large scale misleading and disappointment.
Pretty funny how idiots are already complaining. Hm.
Crammed enough ads in the video?
Don't really understand the complaints, I've been loving it so far
Hmm, seems like this video went up before they actually played through each life path. Isn't it a bit premature to put this out? There is an issue with developers hyping up their games to the sky and then trying to control the narrative when a game releases. There is another issue with review outlets trying to rush out opinion pieces before they have spent much time with games…
Answer is simple: You sheep idolized it too much before it even became a thing
Other than the greed of CDPR being exposed, let’s talk about the gaming community really just being trash. “Lol just buy a ps5 you bum” or even “you need a high end gaming pc” is what I’ve regularly heard and seen since the outrage began. Sure, let’s just make Gaming more and more inaccessible 🙄
this game is great good world building and brilliant story
To bad it will fry your consoles and barley work on your pc no matter how good a game is if it’s broken then it’s broken fans have every right to review bomb it when they got scammed
Yeah. cops and NPCs' are pretty limited but this is dense RPG with complex mechanics. People are expecting GTAV polished experience when they really should have been expecting Skyrim/Fallout3-4 slightly buggy experience where some jank happens. I played Fallout New Vegas on PS3 man, this is nothing compared to that unless you bought the last gen version.
I'm enjoying the game, but so much of the side content is just filler garbage quests. A.I. among civilians/drivers is non existent, everything is just on rails. To top that off the main story is ridiculously short to where it's really disappointing to me. It's fun, but overall CDPR was talking out their ass. What the hell were they doing for 8 years? The game doesn't even really look that great. RDR2 is better in almost every way in my opinion. I think they have really poor management at CDPR. But they hyped the game up and made the sales so jokes on the consumer. Hopefully they release really meaty content and polish it up. It is a good game, just very dissapointing and many missed opertunities. So the decline of CDPR begins, hope their next game they actually keep their promises. I would have rather waited another 2 years then what we got.
Where are the people who praises this game???? 😁😁😁
At least the developers are trying really hard to fix the bugs and performance issues, which i appreciate. No game is perfect. Look at skyrim and witcher 3. Great games which had a terrible release, yet bloomed beautifully after the kinks were worked out. I don't mind waiting for it to get fixed and for a sale price. But i preferred not to coz i know im investing my money on a game developer that deserves it. Got it pre-ordered, lowered my expectations, and offered my full patience. This game has potential. But as always, this is my opinion and i respect anyone who says otherwise.
The game is terrible. They took everyone for a fool
I hate console players, everything has to be scaled down for them!
As a PC user the UI is SHIT. Being unable to remap the controls to any key I want on the keyboard is a DISGRACE for a PC game in 2020.
i AM HAPPY WITH IT PLAYING ON PC NO PROBLEMS
It took them 4 months to fix the witcher3 overall but by the second month of launch it was fixed to a playable state from start to finish. So it might take them a month but cyberpunk released in a way worse state than the witcher. So a fix that makes it decent enough could be either before the holidays or in a month or 2. as they have more resources than they had during the witcher. But this is still super unacceptable and sad
So Death Stranding was a very good game all along
I'm glad I didn't preorder this. I got to say day other
Industry sectors also do 6day work weeks at the end of the year. its nothing special to bitch about.
if this game would have been "johnny mnemonic" the movie "point break" the original and a "walk in the clouds" movie all tied together it would have had heart fun danger and love but what it is "broken people" a "broken world" and a bleak hell hole.
imagine spending hours in costumization and realize its FPS 🤡
I am sorry for the devs. Getting hit with the backlash and having to deal with things like death threats while they just wanted to make a good game
700 likes from a fanboys lol wtf
Was Cyberpunk 2077 a good game at the very least?
Well… It's complicated.
