Denying the skill correlation between "high time" and "low time" players which they do every time they bring it up is completely hilarious. Yes, there is a possibility that that you are the very fridge of the bell curve, the 0.001%, but as a general rule of thumb that applies to 98% of humans the more you play the better you are. If you want to improve the very best thing you can do is spend more time in game. If you are a "low time player" you are almost guaranteed to worse than the player who play more. You should accept this and not get discouraged when comparing yourself to others.
The good low time player is basically non-existent and it's probably not beneficial to tell yourself that you are the exception if you want to improve. You also don't have to be good to have a lot of fun in Tarkov it's just about the expectations you set for yourself.
Knowing that most of the player base was getting a lot of play time with the holiday and myself not getting a whole lot myself has been painful, but at least I have had fun with the time I did have. At the same time I'm comfortable with my skill level and progression and am not going to stress about being "behind". If anything the prices for the hideout items will settle a bit before I need them.

Btw last year I switched from console to pc and bought EOD. I have 2000 hours in this game and I've never been more excited to get on and play a game. I dont think there is a better way to get into pc. I jumped into cs with a friend the other day and I was clicking heads left and right. When you get good at a game like tarkov it makes other games simple
